I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but I'll be honest here...I thought it was pretty boring. I found myself bored throughout the entire thing. I know a lot of people wanted more info on Animal Crossing, since there hasn't been new info on it in so long, but there was nothing.

 

After I saw Kingdom Hearts, the only thing that kept me watching was the hope that at the end they would surprise us with the first trailer for that new Zelda 3DS game they're working on. But nope.

 

They gave us some great new info on games already announced, but I really wanted to hear about some new games.

 

What did you guys think of it?

I enjoyed it all. Not as much as the conference yesterday, but still. I found it funny.

It was funny but I was kinda disappoint.

Well, I was enjoying my dinner so I guess I didn't miss much judging by your post.

I wish we had some new info but on the other hand, I was really happy to get more news on other 3DS games. I'm more sure of what I want to get.

I was actually seriously disappointed... I wanted ANY news on:

• a Zelda game. Sure, Skyward Sword only came out end of 2011, and OoT3D came out about a year ago, but still. Just an announcement saying they're working on one, or what they're working on, would've been appreciated.

• Animal Crossing 3DS. I'm seriously annoyed about this one. It wasn't even on the 'titles for 2012' list, and it's been in development for over a year. We didn't even get a release date or even a MENTION of the game.

• Kingdom Hearts 3D. We deserved more screen time than what we got. Paper Mario had a ridiculous fifteen minutes or so, then that other Mario game at the end had about ten minutes, Luigi's Mansion also got a fair amount of time... I'm sick of Mario/Luigi/Wario stuff, they need to give it a rest and show us some other stuff already. Kingdom Hearts got all of about what, 2 minutes? And even then it was almost all stuff we'd seen before from that damn repetitive special trailer... I find watching the gameplay extremely tedious, we should've at least been rewarded with say, one unseen cutscene. It didn't help that they just went on and on about the eShop either, as if we're idiots who aren't aware of what's in it.

• a Pokémon game. Okay, sure, they mentioned the upcoming Black/White 2, but I was hoping for news of RSE 3DS remakes in-development, or at least a new Pokémon title for the 3DS in general. Though I didn't expect this to come up, I was just hoping, so I can't complain about this one too much. The least Nintendo could've done was show us some NEW games... they just couldn't shut up about Mario.

 

tl;dr Big disappointment, Nintendo.

To be honest here.........I like only the Paper Mario Sticker Star, Luigi's Mansion 2, Epic Mickey Power of Illusions, KH3D (of course), New Super Mario Bros 2, and the fact that they said something about Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, Pokemon Dream Radar, and Pokedex 3D Pro. I also liked how they saw that people just fell into a liking for NonSpeific Action Figure, he will go down in Nintendo history.

I was extremely disappointed. New Super Mario Bros 2 seems to be all about coins and made mario look invincible with that golden fire flower. And the multiplayer seems like it could be fun but extremely enraging considering that the camera follows the brother in the lead and would purposely mess up the other player. Paper Mario looked interesting and I'd get it. I was also interested in Black 2/White 2 and the Dream Radar. I was upset that Kingdom Hearts only had like 1-2 minutes of screen time yet everything else was shown for 5+ minutes! I wanted to finally hear the TWEWY gang say more than just a sentence! Another thing, I was one of those people who wanted to see Animal Crossing. I wasn't as obsessed as the majority of the people in the chat using caps lock and saying "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT CASTLEVANIA!! GIVE US ANIMAL CROSSING!!!" But I must say, Castlevania definitely was the most uninteresting game to me in that whole showcase. The game looks decent until they showed gameplay. That's when it got really boring. But yeah, where's Animal Cross, Ninty? And why did KH get the shortest amount of time?

Really wanted some Animal Crossing since I have had the game on the DS since the day it came out and I really expected it to be there...

KH3D Only got 2 minutes and not really any new information. I am wondering if it was a waste staying up all night to watch it...

I did like some of the others though I guess but I really wanted some insight with Animal Crossing and KH3D!

The reason they aren't working on many 3DS games is because Nintendo wants their main focus to be the Wii U. I think that if the system doesn't sell well then Nintendo may go under according to IGN.

If they want the system to sell well, then maybe they should focus on the other most recent one, the 3DS... If the fans are happy they'll like buy more Nintendo. If they feel they're not getting the games they've been waiting for for so long (eg. Animal Crossing), then some people are gonna lose hope on Nintendo. /meforexample

I'm still all for Nintendo, but they better rescue E3 by giving some mention of AC3DS.

I was disappointed mainly because they were like "there will be some surprises along the way" .... that was bs,

I knew everything that was showcased. I watched it not for KH3D (because at this point nothing is new) but for the other games that will be available.

-Paper Mario, Heroes of Ruin, B/W 2 and KH3D were the only games I wanted.

Games like, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem should have been shown. Not announced on Twitter a few hours later, Fire Emblem I am looking at you.

 

But eh, Nintendo will still get my money on a few titles... Next year I'll try not to get hyped up by E3 as much as I did this year.
