no its logical for it to be xbox 360 and PS3 since xbox is now one of the top leading consoles in america. what company would be stupid enough to kill their own profits? seriously most of my generation went from PS2 to Xbox so i can garuntee the next game wont do as well if its just on PS3 since very few would buy one for the game.

How is it logical when the company is based in Japan? Where the PS2 is outselling the 360.

that not nice thats just excluding people and losing money. plus i dont even think the space restrictions would be as bad as what some people make it out to be if it had to be slightly toned down for xbox considering how big and how much content xbox games can pack "looks at skyrim"

Apparently, companies dont care about excluding people and losing money, which is why they have exclusives in the 1st place. How much content Xbox games can pack? Didn't L.A. Noire have about 2-4 discs for the 360 version(wasn't it slightly toned down as well)?

never played that game so i dont even know how much content it has so i cant judge. but if the next kingdom hearts game needs more space than what skyrim is packing than it is waaay to big.

and japan dosent matter that much since they are the minority of the kingdom hearts player base. and might i remind everyone that they made final fantasy XIII for xbox so its not out of the question at all and proves they are willing to go multi-console to reach a wider audience

And thus a problem for 360 users.

Wii"U" and PS3 cause 3rd party exclusives are dead these days.

if you think about it the reason we are waiting on KH3 is because the KH team is making FFvs13 which is PS3 only.

We're not talking about vs13 so that doesn't mean anything.

FFvs13 is on PS3, KH team is making FFvs13. which means KH3 has a good chance being on PS3. Which is the system i want it to be on

no i mean if you have a kingdom hearts game that needs that much space than just in general its way too big. personally i think 3 should be a big game since it is the conclusion of the trilogy but i cant imagine the game being big enough to need a blu-ray disc for space

Most likely wont happen... BUT! Nomura did say he want KH3 to be multi platform so...

Uhh, when did he say this?

tutti frutti. I'm just saying in general, if a person is a fan of the series, like KH for example, if they wanted to play BBS they shouldn't be forced to buy a PSP in order to play that. I agree with what you said about there being other games for the consoles and handhelds. I just remember there were some on this site that had stated that they didn't have a PSP, but wanted to play BBS themselves. I'm mostly just saying that if Square is going to span the series over different consoles between two companies, PS2, PSP, GBA, DS, 3DS, why not just make the games on multiplatform or just stick with one company and their consoles over making it difficult for people to purchase the games.

Expand your gaming tastes. People shouldn't be forced to buy a PS3 just for one game, by your logic.

What it will probably be: PS3

What I want it to be: Multi-console Releases on WiiU, 360, PS3

I am not going to buy a PS3 for KHIII. Pretty much the only way I'll ever play it is if it has a multi-console release.

Well I don't have a PS3, but that's the system that I hope KH3 will be on. Nomura has stated that he feels Kingdom Hearts should come back to consoles, KH has never had anything to do with Xbox, and a kingdom hearts game on a nintendo home console would feel weird to me. A PS3 is most likely my next console too...

well kingdom hearts has mainly stuck to the japanese systems so i think it will not be for the xbox most likely for the ps3 or its next gen. :)

i hope to god its not on PS4, the chances of me buying that are even smaller than the chances of me buying a PS3 for kingdom hearts from what i've heard (must register a game to a specific console, still no damn backwards compatability!)

i hate no backwards combatability it really sucks but i've always been a playstation guy so... it works out for me :P

Since the Wii U can support 2 tablet controllers plus more tradictional controllers I had this idea:

*I warned ya*

Co-op multiplayer with 3 players acting as a party. Sure I suppose any other console could do splitscreen co-op but I like the idea of giving each player his own screen.

tutti frutti. I am usually open minded on what a console has to offer in terms of games. But if there is a game that is exclusive to a particular company or console, such as Nintendo with Mario or Uncharted with the PS3, then gamers are less likely to purchase consoles/handhelds outside of those respective companies to keep up with the series should they choose to do so. What I mean by that is that if sports games are only for consoles here and there as opposed to multiplatform, gamers that play sports games would more frustrated in not having that option to play them without buying another console/handheld. But if there is a series that gamers like, then in my opinion, it should be a series that is either exclusive to a console and/or to that company based on the game, again Nintendo with Mario. Most of the FF series has been focused on mostly one console during the times that a majority of the series has been created, save for the rereleases. But even so, if there is a series that is going to span over multiple consoles, the series itself should be a multiplatform series that is easier for gamers to buy without having to be force to pay a could hundred plus in order to get their hands on part of a series.

Final Fantasy- NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, PS3. Quite a few consoles there.

Anyways, Maybe the gamers don't like the chosen system, then are -forced- to buy it. Also, Kingdom Hearts is a 3rd party game. Mario is a first party game made exclusively for Nintendo, so it would be absolutely foolish to release it on other systems. What KH is trying to o, is grab other types of gamers. It's really not much skin off their back if some can't afford those games. Many people bought a PSP just for Birth by Sleep. Many have a 3DS just for 3D, and ect.

tutti frutti. Again, the Final Fantasy series have been on a single console during the times that they were released, saved for XIII and XII-2. Even so, in my opinion 3rd party games should be multiplatform, that way they shouldn't be limited to certain consoles. It's one thing if they were first party games and exclusive to the company that makes the consoles, but I don't think that they should be limited to certain consoles.
