That's not Yen Sid logic, that's Tetsuya Nomura logic. lol Besides, I'm pretty sure they got that boost in power from Kingdom Hearts. They would not be able to do that if they had to straight up fight Master Xehanort.

its not yensids logic its nomura logic as depicted in one of the interviews is that they think of new ways to make you lvl 1 for sora aka kh1 they started there first journy aka chain of memories they forgot every thing kh358 roaxs was just born kh2 sora was asleep and had to relearn every thing gain recoded data sora was born/made i dont get the logic of bs but i know there is a reason for lvl 1 there. and finally KH3D sorry and riku fell asppel and must began anew aka what yensid said they must for get what they have learded but must retain there true selfs in order to pass the test meang you back at lvl 1 .

I think Yen Sid logic is more along the lines of 'I'm pretty sure this Master Xehanort is planning to ruin everything the heroes are doing, but I'm going to keep this information to myself and see what happens when Sora and Riku take their Mark of Mastery exam.'

yen sid's exam was a fail if sora and riku had enough power to take down a fully powered Xemnas then there was no reason to take it away.

Yea i agree with you in 3D Yen Sid says something about them not being "properly trained" to use the keyblade like Mickey, Terra, Aqua, and Ven were and even Vanitas they kinda just picked it up and ran with it so apparantly this is how Keyblade warriors are supposed to fight.

Yes but look at what a lifetime of proper Keyblade training got them Terra got his body snatched, Vanitas was destroyed, Ventus has been sleeping for over ten years, and Aqua has been trapped in the realm of darkness for the same amount of time.Sora and Riku were not sheltered their whole life they were thrown into batle and at the end of the day had the experience to combat a real threat and their street style was far more effective then all of their "proper style".

I definately agree but once again this is Yen Sids logic so what can you do. Btw am i the only person that cant imagine Yen Sid using a keyblade i mean what would his stance look like. Sorry if im off topic.
