I've already got it on preorder, along with the game. Part of me has a feeling that they may have a special AR card in the guide as well as tips for synthesizing Spirits. Plus it always has tips for boss fights and the locations of every chest.

Heck No! it is a huge scam, It makes people think less and just follow a book, Plus, the internet is here for those times where you get completely stuck, and youtube is more of a help than any directions will ever be.

I don't have the internet to rely on if I get stuck and its nice to know where all the treasures chests are. Don't want to pass them up.

I agree. I had lost some games awile ago but I still had the guide books to them so going back over the books made it like I was replaying the games even though I couldn't anymore. Edited June 16, 2012 by NamineRose

Exactly. I can't afford to waste money on something that's only going to collect dust. I never buy guidebooks. Why should I, when if there's something I want to know, I can just easily look it up?

I will. I usely get them after i beat the game, so then i can go back and get extra chests or synthesize items. I STILL need to get Kingdom Hearts, ReCom, ReCoded, and then DDD.

Yeah, they usely include a poster (well the KH2 one did and so did 358/2 days) and that's freaking cool.
