I came across a link portal once in the demo for kh3d where three of those T-Rex dream eaters showed up and since then I can't seem to find it and I've been all over the spot where it was. Does anyone know what makes them show up and has anyone else found one in the demo?

one u beat a link portal u can no longer use it

Same spot each playthrough, different name, same challenge.

After you've done it once you can do it again unless you replay the demo.

Always a Final Fantasy name there!

Examples like Cloud, Auron, Vivi,Zack,etc.

Its funny how they are always named after final fantasy characters

I've only gotten Cecil, Tidus, and Laguna.

 

But yeah, you can only do it once per demo round.

I played the demo 4 times but only 2 times I was able to beat the challenge

I got Lightning, but I've only played the main section of the demo the one time. Does completing the challenge in 20 seconds or less get you anything special? I wasn't sure if the game told me I'd failed the challenge or not... (It said "Challenge Failed," but the results screen said "Obtained," which confused me...)

you get something for completing the challenge, but you get onother item for completing the challenge in under 20 seconds

it's like a bonus

 

I think there'll be many of this kind of challenges
