Hey guys! This is my first post and i'm just wondering...how long have you been a fan of Kingdom Hearts? Also, how to you get to know about it?

For me I discovered KH when I got final fantasy X and I watched the bonus disk "beyond final fantasy" I really wanted the game but I couldn't afford it so I rented it a load of times. This was back when I was 5 years old and the KH series first started . So what about you?

I played and loved Kingom Hearts at my cousin's house 10 years ago, but I officially became a KH fan when I got the KH2 and later my own copy of KH1...

tutti frutti. I believe for me it wasn't until 2005. Before when I first saw commercials for it in 2002, I didn't think that it would last long since I had believed at the time that Disney and Square wouldn't last with KH1. But finally decided to give it a try and the rest was history. So I guess 7 years.

No but seriously I have been a fan since I first saw the commercial in early 2002, when I was 13. My mom was there, she saw the commercial for the first time when I did and she said "That's something you'd be interested in if you were younger." and I said "That's something I'd be interested in now." I got it a couple of months after it came out which was cool because by that time I was 14. The same age as Sora! So basically I've been a KH fan for the whole 10 years.

I was about 9, the same year KH2 came out...I saw the commercials for KH2 and thought "Final Fantasy-esque guys running around with Disney characters? Awesome!"

So, then I found of copy of KH1 at my local Blockbuster (I got them confused) and played it till I got to Agrabah. Then I had to return it. Damn it. SO, I found a copy of KH2 months later, thinking it was 1. What a way to spoil the story, huh? I beat the game at like, somewhere between the 80s and 90s in percentage...then returned it. The only interaction I had until I watched a full LP for 1 was a 358 Days commercial. Then, by the time BBS came out, which was also when I got a copy of Re:COM from my pal and beat it....I was hooked. Completely hooked. I hold this series as a favorite over any other game or series of games.

Around 2007 i believe. I had a friend who was playing it one day and i asked him what he was playing. He said Kingdom Hearts. So then i went to Movie Gallery (when it was still in business in my town, ) and rented it. Though, i rented the 2nd game was MAJORLY confused. That is when i fell in love with it. I finally bought the first one in like 2009 because i watched a walkthrough. (I know, like major time skip but at that time i forgot about it and then got back into it when i moved in my new house in late 2008) Then bought all the games when they came out and here i am today. A die hard Kingdom Hearts fan!

Since 2006, my brother had gotten a PS2 and the first Kingdom Hearts for Christmas.

I watched him play most of the time, and actually started playing myself 2007ish.

Since then I've played every KH game. (except I never got around to finishing Re:Coded...)

Since Days came out.

I've been a fan since 2007 starting with Kingdom Hearts 2. Then I got KH1, re:chain and so on with each new release.

10 years. i iz so old ;___;

I was interested in KH since 2002 when I first saw the commercial on tv. I didn't truly start till 2006 when I got KH 2 and became a fan.

Well i don't remember how old i was , I was little though ,

I remember I was visiting my cousin all the time , 3 times a week(even more)

Then in 2002 The older cousin(he's like 30+ now) bought kingdom hearts to himself and his brother(who is 4 years older than me)

Then WE started playing , though we were stupid - I was little so i called the game "Doland Duck" and so the little cousin , and we were stuck in the 4 starting world Traverse Town,Deep Jungle,Wonderland,Olympus Coliseum , and it was because we never shoot fire on merlin house and opened him.

And we never had any abilities equiqed , and always was with Kingdom Key (We finished all of olympus mission that time with Kingdom Key)

So we always came back to traverse town like the solution to our problem is there(and it really was there we just didnt know)

I loved the music of Traverse Town !!

But we give up and stop playing , and i know we give up years after because

in 2002 - first bought the game

2005 - we gave up , and i know it because in the last half year we played the game my cousin saw on IGN that A KHII was going to/already(i dont remember) released.

3-2-4 Years ago , I searched the game(After Buying PS2 only for this game - it was like childhood memory , since it was my childhood strongest memory http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png) on the web and learned about heartless and that kind of plot.

So i told the young cousin and we started playing it again untill we end the game. then(alone) i played KH2 , Chain Of Memories and all the other sidegames.

And before year - I started playing the game all over again in the chronical order BBS ->KH1->COM/DAYS->KH2->RE CODED

and i also followed in webs to see im getting the whole story clear.

Now im doing Final Mixes and stuff

I Finished 1 final mix , and now im playing 2 final mix english patched though.

I hate the fact that people have to use size 100 font and color text just to answer a simple question. And the fact that some people are writing a book on when they first became a fan of the series that no one really wants to read.

 

I became a fan of the series in 2004 or 2005. I remember I had a subscription to a Disney magazine and that's what got me interested in the game. They were advertising Chain of Memories in 2005... lol.

Since Christmas of 2004, I believe, so 8 years
