I've kept thinking about what the third Kingdom Hearts should be like, and with the release of Kingdom Hearts 3D, I've thought about whether the most recent addition to the Kingdom hearts series is foreshadowing what we can expect with the third Kingdom Hearts.

Now before I get hate comments, I want you all to know I think KH3D looks to be a wonderful game, and I've even pre-ordered the MoM edition myself. But to me, although the cartoonish design and outline this KiH3D contains defineately suits this title, I feel it wouldn't be doing the series justice to have the third Kingdom Hearts also have a happy go lucky cartoony atmosphere like KH1 and KH3D. In my opinion, I feel the third installment should be dark, like KH2. In fact the darkness that KH2 had is the reason why KH2 is my favorite KH game. Maybe even a little blood and gore (not to the point of destroying the usual KH themes and antics we've all come to know and love) would make the third game just that much more enticing.

So what do you guys think?

    • Bloody and violent, to the point like God of War 3 (Just thought I'd add this option in for fun)

Its needs a mixture of happiness and seriousness. Because its wrapping up the Xehanort saga there is definitely gonna be lots of serious plot, sadness, happiness, hope, despair, and emotion. Its the very thing we expect from a KH game really . Also drama to the max !

Glad some people agree with me :).

And it's not like I'm saying give it a sad ending, which I know wouldn't happen even if I did want that, I just want the third Kingdom Hearts to be the most, realistic installment, you know?

Second Option All They Way!!!

makes it more fun.

Third option.

More like KH2.

A mix of Kh1 and Kh2, one thing I do hope in terms of characters is that Donald and Goofy return as party members, if anything optional.

I hope KH3 is Darker than KH2, but I don't want to be too dark.

A happy medium would be awesome. Obviously some Disney worlds can't help but be happy go lucky, so that's where the happy stuff could cone from: the Disney aspect of the game. But the KH original stuff is most likely going to be deep and in your face dramatic, which I wouldn't want it any other way. But happy and darker moments in both of those points as well. Don't just make one part of the game this and the other part that yknow.

I was 100% with you until I read Blood & Gore, thats not gonna happen it would scar little children.

Haha I know, I meant like as much blood as there would be in a Final Fantasy game, not God of War amount of blood that was just a joke.

tutti frutti. I would want something more on the Final Fantasy level. Mostly to have more emotion to the storyline, over just the happy-go-lucky theme. I know that happiness is kind of a necessity, but there should be points to where emotions would very depending on the situation, and should be appropriate for what is going on.
