I've been thinking about the basics of KH3. I think it'll have a variant of flow motion and a way to level it up, make it more acrobatic, and add elemental attacks to it, i think the command deck will definitely return, some new gimmick like D links in BbS or Spirit links in DDD, i hope there's gonna be online matchmaking kinda like in Kid Icarus uprising where you go in and kill as many opponents as possible, and most important, make each character feel different that each other. I think as far as the playable characters go, i'm thinking there'll be 7: Roxas, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Aqua and Ven, each following their own story like in BbS. Basic story, Sora will save Terra, Aqua and Ven to begin with then they'll join Riku, Riku and company will be out and combating Organization XIII-2 and honing his new skills as a master, and Kairi will be taking her MoM exam with Lea a la Sora and Riku in DDD. Then they'll all be in the Keyblade Graveyard and will have their climactic clash with the Second Organization and Riku will die defending everybody else, thus stunning all of us. Anyhow, what do you guys think KH3 will be like?

I think kingdom hearts 3 will have flowmoation

First things first, I predict an immese amount of worlds, the most in the series so far. For Sora to become a Keyblade Master, he will have to save the Birth by Sleep gang. Sora will have to first go to the Realm of Darkness to help free not only Aqua, but also Ansem the Wise/Diz. Then sora would also have to go to Castle Oblivion/ land of Departure to get Ventus's comatosed body while encountering the new Organiztion XIII. Then, Sora/Riku/Kairi would have to take Ventus's heart out of Sora by either stabbing sora with the keyblade like he did In KH:1 or by someone entering his heart to retrieve Ventus. After you beat Xehanort you finally get get Terra's heart back to his own body now that Xehanort's heart has been destroyed. Thus, saving the BbS gang. Roxas won't be playable if anything, because he is Ventus. Roxas was Sora's Nobody with Ventus's Heart in it, thus making Roxas look like Ventus. I also think that there will be a part where Master Xehanort will go to Yen Sid's castle and battle Yen Sid. That is when Yen Sid will finally use his Keyblade but then he will be no match for Xehanort so Sora has to fight Xehanort alongside a now Keyblade-wielding Yen Sid. Then you get to go to thirteen worlds, where one of the new organization members will be attacking and some other stuff happens until you finally have the final showdown wiht Xehanort and the New Organization XIII in the Keyblade Graveyard. It would be a mini Keyblade War which will ultimately lead to the awaking of Kingdom Hearts and the re:creation of the X-Blade which Xehanort will use and only Sora can defeat him. Then once you beat the game, the X-Blade will become a playable keyblade. It would also be nice if Xerhanort turned the one thing Sora cares abount most against him/ or turned her evil..............Kairi. That would shatter Sora's heart and someone would have to save him and battle Kairi. Now that would be the best Kingdom Hearts game EVER!!!!! :D :D :D

I think KH3 will have the same basic Command Menu that KHII has, but with something extra... Flow motion would be something awesome to look forward too.

I think the game will have stunning graphics similar to those in FFXIII (sorry for the people that hate to see Donald and Goofy in CGI but they might look similar.) and flowmotion. I think there will be 3 playable characters Sora (with Donald and Goofy in party) Kairi (with Lea and ??? in party) and Riku (with Mickey and ??? in party). I think that Terra's heart is like in Riku or Lea or another random character. I think that in the end Kairi will not fight alongside the 7 guardians and that the seven guardians will be Sora, Riku, Mickey, Aqua, Terra, Ventus and Roxas. I hope that when Roxas will come back his appearance will change a little so we can differ him and Ventus (just make his hair brown http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png ) ! I think that Sora will become the ultimate X-Blade master and that just when Xehanort will be sure he won the battle Sora takes the X-Blade and stabs him! BAM!! And it would be great if Merlin and Yen Sid did a little magic together...and I don't think I'm the only one thinking Yen Sid, Eraqus and Xehanort trained together...so I'd like to learn their background story. I also think that Kairi's nemesis will be Ansem or maybe a new Vanitas since they're both beings of darkness. Riku's nemesis won't be Ansem this time it'll be YMX and Sora's nemesis will be Vanitas, Xehanort or Xemnas...! I know I think a lot...

I doubt they'll put in that many playable characters outside of multiplayer and I think the fact that Kairi is one of the 7 princesses of heart makes her immune to the darkness. But I think it will be interesting to see how they will try and fix up the flowmotion.

Ahhhh, endless possibilities, huh? But yeah, i totally agree with you on everything you said, we have imagiative minds and that's awesome! it would be really cool if KH3 had the things that we said. It would be AWESOME!!! I want Yen Sid to show us his keyblade, since in fact he is a keyblade master so he can still wield the keyblade like Xehanort.

- Worlds that seem more alive instead of static like all worlds are now such as leaves/trees moving, damage to some structures (walls etc)

- Sora and Riku are the only fully playable characters (or only Sora); all the other ones (Aqua, Ventus, etc etc) would just have pre-loaded skills for significant events..... Say, a sequence where Aqua goes to Castle Oblivion to do something.

- A plot which moves backwards and forwards switching between characters as with last point

 

My reasons: BBS was criticized for separate stories, 3D was criticized for drop. So Nomura will come up with a system which switches characters but only at set points- he will only focus on a few characters and since Riku and Sora are main characters it would be them. To add variety other characters would be playable but they would only be for short, highly scripted sequences in unique settings.

 

Multiplayer in the vein of God of War Ascension/BBS.

 

Story doesn't really matter but it will be epic, convoluted and awesome (focusing on Sora/Riku but involving all 7 lights). I personally don't think there will be one massive battle at the end involving all 13 members- there will be a fight between the 7 and 13 in the middle, and the X-blade will be forged, and the second half will show the defeat of the minor darknesses (some of which will be using the non-major uncustomisable playable characters). Kingdom Hearts/ the Realm of Darkness will be proper worlds not just a place where boss fights happen.

I like Riku, he's a total badass! But that kind of turnaround is something that Nomura would do.

flowmotion gone reaction commands back. will feel more like the first two games. much bigger than any other game so far. a battle like the 1000 heartless battle but much bigger and harder. difficulty will spike compared to any other. a final duel with mx as terra keyblade to keyblade. epic way to end the game.

Sure! I think the graphics will still be cartoony but maybe characters like Sora and the others will look a little morel like in CGI's. I mean King Mickey looked cartoony in KH2's ending. And for other Disney Characters they don't have to look realistic. Let's take Ariel as an example she could look like that: I think it would be great...but Nomura is Nomura! He does whatever he wants to do and somehow it ends up looking good!

I believe he said main games would be a natural progression of the KHI and II style of game, with experimentation being more in the non-numbered titles. This doesn't rule out using command deck but suggests that things like D-links and Spirits wont be used. Removing command decks is a step backwards as is removing flowmotion. Both have been received well and it would not make any sense to remove them. Besides, Nomura said that 3D would show the direction 3 will go towards in terms of gameplay... and all of these interviews are old so it doesn't mean anything to Trollmura.

i would rather them go back to 2 in gameplay its just a much better feeling game to me

Same art style but higher resolutiong and in HD kinda the same thing but wateva

 

Gameplay:

~7 Playable Characters (imo more characters could only make the game better).Terra,Aqua, and Ven are slightly less important to the story as Sora and Riku but they have to be playable they started everything so they have to be there when it ends.

~Flowmotion,Command Decks,Some kind of transformations i.e. Drive Forms and Command Styles and just more of the usual awesomeness

~If theres going to be more than one playable character they have to be individual and change up the way you fight like BBS
