RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

Bio: One of the more powerful Keyblade Masters, Juno is a purist: she sees the world in terms of either light or darkness. All that is light must be harbored and nurtured, while the dark must be hunted and destroyed. She has sired countless students, always willing to answer to the call of the few above her. As for her personal history, Juno was brought into her abilities early in life, growing up with her Keyblade. Seperated from her parents as a part of her training, Juno was both raised and trained by her Master. She knows no life other than that of the Keyblade, and would choose nothing else.

Weapon: Keyblade, "Saint Cross". A Keyblade in the form of a longsword, emblazoned with ivory and golden lattices. Bestows the ability "Cover" to its wielder. (That's right. I'm bringing back weapon abilities.)

 

Abilities

 

Cover- Allows the user to teleport in the path of an attack targeting an ally, intercepting the attack. Has a higher rate of success if the target ally is weakened.

 

Faith- The user focuses their entire being, melding mind and spirit. Increases the target's magical potency. Juno often only casts this on herself.

 

Nurse- A traditional paladin ability. Moderately heals the target, removing any status ailments.

 

Holy- Creates a pillar of holy magic. Can be casted multiple times to surround the caster, or fired at the target in a straight line.

 

Saint Cross- A paladin's trademark technique. Holy magic is blasted outward in four directions in the shape of a cross. Has small range, but it's rather powerful.

 

Salvation- Juno's ultimate attack, or "Limit Break" if you will. The spell Holy is casted innumerable times, creating a barrier to trap enemies inside. Juno uses her remaining power to fill the space with a powerful blast of Holy magic, dealing heavy damage to anything within the confines of the spell. As it uses up any energy Juno has, this technique is only to be used in extreme cases.

Abilities continued: Scatter shot malestrom: A stream of lightning attacks coming from lauched orbs. Unbound Barrage: An onslaught of slashes used on multiple or a single enemy. Radiants' Grace: Temporary boost in strength and defense; can be used three times on anyone, lasts for ten seconds and has a 11 minute charge time. Shining Soul Strike: Rexons' strongest attack; a shockwave slash that leaves massive damage, but takes many hours to recharge.

She believes that darkness and light are equal in power and often chooses to work with light masters because of the contrast between powers. She doesn't often take students in, merely for the fact she's a bad teacher. She was raised a regular child , and later found the keyblade while fending off a bear during a camping trip when she was young. Since then she has been raised as keyblade wielder.

Abilities:

Drain

As soon as an opposing attack is initiated, you can initiate this ability to drain the energy of attack into yourself. Only works on weak to medium power magic based attacks

 

Negative Shield

Uses dark energy to create a mobile one sided barrier. Though it doesn't cover everything, it can stand up to quite a bit.

 

Shadow Pillar

A pillar of dark energy will erupt out of the ground wherever needed, it will then proceed to explode. The explosion has a small radius, but is powerful

 

Barrage

The user first encases themselves in a cage of dark balls, then proceeds to thrust them all outward in all directions. They then implode.

 

Rapture

This would be Sekai's limit break. She floats into the air then from the sky comes a rain of 5 dark beams. Afterwards she falls back down to the ground and her keyblade is encased in dark energy, and she just makes large swipes with it. This ability is only to be used in desperation as it will use up all remaining magic power and physical energy. (The keyblade part is similar to Ars Arcanum)

Bio: Raynd, a Keyblade Master of light. He has seen darkness do great things and believes it can be used for righteousness and the will being of what is good. But others believe darkness should be locked away for all eternity. Raynd seeks a way to unite light in darkness and utilize them for the coming age of Twilight.

Weapon/Keyblade: Crimson Zephyr, an arms length keyblade that resembles Oblivion. The key part is red and the long part is white. The handle resembles Oath Keeper and is too red. The keychain is a crown and is red. The keyblade in all looks almost as if it was glass.

 

Abilities-

Keyblade Raids: an attack in which Raynd throws his keyblade at the enemy and it has a boomarang effect and it returns. This attack can be mixed with basic elemental magic.

Blitz: an attack in which Raynd dashes towards the enemy with the keyblade thrusting forward. Raynd will do this repeatedly a few times.

Hero's Triumph: an attack in which orbs of light will shoot out from Raynd as he begins to float. This attack lasts a good 10 seconds and Raynd can not move while attack is in motion. This is his 'limit break'.

His father is sorcerer and scientist who prefers to live alone, so Nathan had to live most of time with his mother, until his gift on keyblade was discovered. Nathan was always fast learner, but he never got good on close quarters combat. Nathan is gifted on magic and combines that with his keyblade and that is his one speciality. Nathan is quiet, but very wise on his age and gives respect to people who are wise and strong. Nathan sees darkness as inferior to light, but is intrested to see and know darkness better.

 

Appearance: About 165 cm tall boy, who has slight green eyes, blond and spiky, but not too long hair and has cross like earring on his left ear. He wears white shirt with sleeves wrapped up and few buttons left unbuttoned, also wears tie if feels like. He has dark grey pants with same cross mark as his earring and his shoes are black with green stripes

Abilities: Multicast (can cast many spells at same time and combine them)

Bio: Lamia is 14 and has had a hard past. Lamia's mother killed herself and her father. She was sent to her mother's parents house. One day, she got her keyblade. After Lamia got kicked out again and went to her Aunts house. From Lamia's bad past, she has always been cold hearted, and kept to her self. She traveled to the castle of All worlds to get answers, but then she discovers the Keyblade war, but she knows, if she concurs her past, she could end up ending the war with new friends.

Anya is a Keyblade Wielder of Light, but she has always been curious of the Dark.

I was thinking something similiar, so to the remaining people who are applying, if you could please look into a character on the neutral or dark side of things, it would really help in the overall conflict, that way we can actually have some people really contesting against each other.
