RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

The door opened in front of her, and her eyes found a person standing in front of her. Juno Grace. A master similar to herself, but whom used the light. Sekai herself had no problem with this, and had worked with her a few times before. They were almost opposite in the case of abilities, making a team with the two of them very effective. Unfortunately, they didn't get along very well, and the growing tension between light and dark hadn't helped one bit. Sekai nodded her head and stepped inside. Of course she was very curious and wanted answers. "What happened at the castle? Is everybody safe?" she asked.

"There was an attack." Juno closed the door befroe turning back to Sekai. "Saez diverted their leader and I managed to seal the heart of the world... but not everyone made it out." Her voice was somber. It didn't matter how many times she thought of that fact. It hit her with the same intensity every time. "We have yet to decide our next move. My apprentices, another Master, and two students are here as well, as is my Master. The lord of this manor is making arrangements for a possible counteroffensive. We must simply wait." Juno sat on one of the cushioned chairs in the entrance area, gathering herself. Even though she was shaken up by the ordeal, she had to keep her cool. "I recommend you stay here. We need to keep track of everyone we can." She quickly glanced between sekai and the boy across from her. "I'm sorry, I didn't introduce either of you. Sekai, this is my new apprentice, Eugene."

Axus sat on his throne and tapped the air. The Core Of All Worlds appeared in front of him. It looked like a globe with all the worlds within it. "Lets have a little fun," Axus said as he located the area that the keyblade wielders took refuge. He saw Sekai. "Ah we have a problem. Sekai has joined them. It won't really be a problem for me. However, she can delay my plans by a few steps. How about we take care of this," Axus said as he touched an hidden area within the mansion. This opened a black rip that transferred the dark wielders from the Saez's castle to there. "That should be of good use," Axus said as he turned the globe. He stopped at a place called England. "Hm the famous King Arthur should reside here. He will make an nice edition to our army," Axus said as he tapped the globe. The core disappeared and Axus opened a portal leading to England. "You two guard the castle," Axus said as he went in.

Rexon, looking around the area thinks: This place seems to be quite stable. He then spots two people at the mansion entrance. Smiling with relief he says: "Zanox, I see some people inside, let's go in too!" Rexon starts jogging to the mansion.

"Okay!" Zanox said. He followed.

Eugene looked at Sekai and smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you." Eugene's mind then wandered back to what Jericho had said about him, What if I really can't control my darkness. What if Jericho is right. No, he's wrong. No matter what, I will control my darkness, and prove him wrong. I'm gonna make my master proud of me, no matter how harsh the training I have to undergo.

Anya had been waiting calmly at the front, until she had the sudden feeling something wasn't right. "Does anyone else feel uneasy?" she asked, shifting her weight nervously. She recongized her feeling of unasy almost immediatly. "There's more dark wielders here. My guess is that it's Axus' doing." Anya said, casting wary looks down the halls.

"What? Dark wielders here?" Juno spun around to Anya, but another figure behind the girl caught her attention. "Master?"

 

"Shut up, kid." Tha bangaa growled. "I'll take care of these vermin. You keep track of the students." His jewelery jingled with each step as Jericho moved down the hall, the power of darkness rippling beneath his feet. He could feel the dark wielders moving up from the basement, and they would have to come this way. They would never make it out of this hall.

 

The first weilder barreled around the corner, Jericho grabbing it as it lunged for him. In a flash of light, it was gone; purged from this world. Three more came soon after, shadows trailing behind them as they rushed for the bangaa. Jericho let out a heavy cry as an enormous ivory gauntlet materialized over his entire right arm, its golden adornments shining in its own radiance. He swung the massive Keyblade forward, smashing through one of the wielders before crushing the second with an iron grip. He looked for the third, missing it as it teleported behind him. It slashed down on the Master, its blade vaporizing on impact. Jericho turned back, crushing the wielder with no effort. He let out a snarl and grinned as the hall filled with darkness, swarms of dark wielders bursting through intot he manor. Jericho reached forward with his Keyblade gauntlet, Holy magic spreading in all directions. The light shot through the halls, coating every surface. The dark wielders were frozen in place, bound by the spell. Pillars of light shot up, piercing several of the shadow beings. "Salvation!" Jericho shouted, Holy filling the corridor.

 

Juno felt the ground shake, covering her eyes as light blasted out from the hallway. Jericho emerged minutes later, grabbing the corner of the drywall with his gauntlet. It cracked under his grip. "It's taken care of." He grumbled. "Juno, I need to speak to you in the library. Now." Juno looked to Sekai before following her Master.

 

"Please speak with Eugene. I'm sure you could help him." She passed Eugene on her way out, whispering "Master Milan can help you as well. Please speak with her while I'm out."

Zanox was almost inside when a voice called inside his head. "Fix the fountain." Zanox couldn't help himself from doing it. A Portal appeared from inside the fountain. Possessor came out. "Don't you ever give up?" "I've found the perfect plan." "Whoopee. It'll get foiled again." "Not this time." "Wha'?" Possessor transformed into a perfect replica of Zanox. "Have you really forgotten that i had copied yours and all your friend's DNA? And look! My 'Zanox' even has your speech. Without demonic alteration!" "I don't care! You may look like me, but from the inside, you're a ruthless, ball of darkness!" "By The By, I've made sure that no darkness is leaking from me. No one can tell the difference but us!" You've gotta be kidding me. Zanox thought.

"Ah my old friend, Arthur! How have you fared?" Axus asked. "Axus! It's so great seeing you again!" King Arthur replied surprised to see his friend. "How it that darkness I gave you? Have you been treating it well?" Axus asked as he sat on a chair. Arthur stood up and clenched his fists and he was transformed into a black knight. "Have I? I've done so much more," Arthur said as he pulled out Excalibur. The legendary weapon of light was now completely drenched in darkness. Axus widened his eyes. "So I guess you're battle ready?" Axus assumed. "Why yes, I've stationed my army and dark wielders in a secret place not far from here. All but Lancelot is here. He is on his way to join the Keyblade Wielders," Arthur said disappointingly as he returned to his normal self. "Hm. That's a problem. No matter. We will soon drench him in darkness as well!" Axus said. The two walked to a garden. "So what has become of your war?" Arthur questioned. "Ah! The war has been splendid! I've taken down King Saez's castle, forced the Keyblade Wielders to go to another world, and gained the World Of All Beginnings!" Axus said. "Sounds like everything's going according to plan. What about your plans at the World Of Curses?" Arthur asked. "My friend, my plans have been delayed. I need you to mobilize some of your troops and send them to The World Of Blessings. Then we will take over the World Of Curses," Axus said. "Understood," Arthur said as he walked away. "Everything's going according to plan. All that's left is the Keyblade Wielders," Axus said as he opened a portal back to The World Of All Beginnings.

As Rexon was heading to the entrance, he stopped in a confused manner thinking: Two Zanox's? Apparently the possesor took on his form all too well. I'll have to think of a way to tell the difference between them. Rexon crossed his arms and closed his eyes, wondering how to settle things without hurting the real Zanox.

Zanox readied his keyblade, as well as Zanix. "You don't seem ready. There isn't room for both of us, here, Zanix!" Zanix said. Zanox was amazed. Possessor is even framing itself in an attempt to banish me!

 

"You'll end up destroying yourself." Zanox replied. He hit Zanix with his keyblade, which then surrounded in darkness. "What?" "Aha! You've blown your cover Possessor!" Possessor said.

Holy: Launch a pillar of white magic over the enemy.

Flare: lauch a ball of fire at the enemy.

Eclipse: A dark sword crash on the enemy. Cause blind state.

Guardian Force: His limit break. Increase the power of his sword. causing massive damage.

Rexon quickly opens his eyes and sees Zanox's keyblade covered with darkness. He shouts out: "I know who to get!", summons his keyblade, and starts charging forward.

"Rexon? No. No, No! Good buddies, right? Good buddies!" Zanox had no choice. Zanix threw a ball of light at Zanox, which caused in an eruption leaving a huge hole deep down underground. "I've got it here, Rexon." Zanix said as he used holy power to put him in his arms. "Help!" Zanox said. Zanix made sure Rexon wasn't looking, and fired a beam at Zanox. "Help! Dark Weidlers! Wait, i didn't say that!" Zanix smiled. "I'm going to put you in your place!" Zanix said as he walked down deeper. There jail cells underneath. Zanix threw Zanox into a cell. "You're a dirty one, you know that." Zanox said. "You're very smart for one overwhelming with darkness, Possessor." "Thank you. Now, until never, good bye!" Possessor laughed evilly with an evil grin on his face. Possessor walked out into clear skies. "Now that's over with! I'm glad, huh Rexon?" Zanix said.

Finally, Juno asked her to listen to her new pupil. "Alright Juno." Sekai said, as Juno had left the room. She turned to Eugene and spoke to him. "It is not normal for Juno to take a student who uses darkness, you should know that first off. I use darkness myself, but I see nothing wrong with the light. Do not classify as one who would've attacked the castle, or the mansion here. Now if you would show me, what you can do, I would like to see it for myself. Let us go outside." Sekai walked calmly outside. This wasn't the first time that she had taught a student something, but it was rare that she did so. Turning around in the front yard, she raised Negative Shield. Hopefully it wouldn't break. "Now show me your abilities, in order from most powerful to least." she said again to Eugene.

Rexon, chuckling a bit says: "Sure, imposter!!" Rexon makes a diagnol slash at Zanix possesor. Rexon: "I'm sorry, did I surprise you wack attack?"

Zanix easily dodged. "What, so you're against me? Fine. Believe me, or not. That guy is dangerous down there. I'm telling you!" Zanix said. "He'll eventually destroy you." Zanix replied, casting a barrier. "You'll see!" Zanix left down the road. After he was out of sight, he opened a portal to the cells. "Hey Zanox, guess what i did? I've made the most perfect plan ever. Zanix reached a hand toward Zanox. "Get away from me! You've framed me twice, not again!" Zanix fired a small dark ball and it hovered toward Zanox. "Call me when he's functioning." That can only mean one thing. This ball is a parasitical pixie! It charged into Zanox, and covered him in darkness. It was clear: the darkness is used to make sure Zanox looks like Possessor.

Rexon, standing around annoyed thinks: That guy is a real piece of work. Does he really have to go through all this trouble to tarnish Zanoxs' reputation and make me kill him? I'm surprised he didn't ask me why I attacked him. In any case, whatever tricks he comes up with won't fool me!

"That Rexon character knows too much. I better make sure my power's still high. C'mon Zanox.." Zanox wasn't shrouded in darkness. Zanix pushed Zanox out toward Rexon. "Okay. Who's the real Zanox?"

When Juno entered the library, her eyes were immediately drawn to her Master. He stood in front of one of the bookcases, a pile of books on the table behind him. She closed the door behind her with a soft click. "You wanted to see me, Master?"

 

"Tell me what you see here, Juno." Jericho picked another book off of the shelf, tossing it onto the pile behind him without looking. He moved form the shelf to the window, taking in the sunlight. He looked down, seeing Sekai moving into a clearing with that dark boy. Juno truly was a fool.

 

Juno moved to the table, thumbing through it. She then flipped through the second book, and the next one. After the fourth book, she was beginning to see a recurring theme. "I see a fairy tale. A child's bedtime story. Nothing that can help us." Jericho sighed, still looking out the window.

 

"While most mythology is allegorical, it all finds roots in truth." Jericho explained calmly. "The greater World is in danger of being thrown out of balance by an overwhelming dark force. You saw this when the Castle was attacked. I believe that this," He raised a hand, motioning back to the books. "Can be our salvation."

 

"Kingdom Hearts isn't even real. It's a myth. Pure legend." Juno shot back, slamming the book in her hand shut. "You plan to fight fire with words, Master."

 

"I thought I taught you better than that, Juno." Jericho turned to his apprentice. The light blanched his orange skin, his golden jewelery shining. "Kingdom Hearts will lead us into a new era. One of peace, where light and darkness can be regulated. Made equal." He marched toward her, roughly snatching one of the books from the pile. He flipped it open with one hand, practically shoving it into her face. "This is what will deliver us, Juno. I... need your help." Juno didn't know what to say. What Jericho was proposing was... ludicrous, to say the least.

 

The two Masters simply stood in the library, facing each other. And neither could find the words to convince the other of how wrong they were.
