So I was wailing on the Nightmare Armor and as he gets down to about 2-1 bars of health left he all of the sudden gets stuck in his falling animation. I could still hit him so I kept attacking until I had him close to zero. Took me a couple seconds to guess that there was probably a special way to finish the battle that he had to start so I ended up having to reset and defeat Young Xehanort again and then the entire Nightmare Armor fight once more.

 

What I would like to know is if anyone else has had this happen and knows what causes it.

Ouch, I haven't had that happen to me...boss fight wise anyway, but I have had something similar happen when fighting Nightmares...Riku seemed more glitchy than Sora. @__@

Well, at least you didn't have to do it during the Ansem: Phase 2 battle. YMX + Armored Ventus are pretty easy bosses.

Yeah I remember they also said they were going to make it so that when you dropped during a boss battle you wouldn't have to start it over. Nope you still do.

KH3D: Most glitched game in the series.

It's almost as glitchy as the Megaman BattleNetwork games! Though I only had one glitch on me and 3D did not...but yea they should patch it. And do some game updates...Like actually battle people via internet

u guys know the other games had just as many glitches right ...

I had a glitch during the YMX battle where if I used my dream eaters, YMX would dissapear from the area so I couldn't beat him. I had to reset the game and beat him without my dream eater power up TT^TT

Can't say I haven't come across any in the other games either. I've never had any that actually borked my games so I can't really complain.

I hope they'll patch it soon but hey..........at least it's not as glitchy as Sonic 06..........Sonic 06 had like more than 50 glitch scattered everywhere even if you don't search for them they'll occur........anyway

 

I really want Square to patch KH3D as soon as possible because the game has alot of stuff going on than other titles so having glicthes wasn't a surprise...but I hope they fix that

That fight glitched me just long enough to use Dark Splicer. That reset the Armor for some reason, though. Then it used that dark fountain attack and pissed me off.

bbs had a shit load of glitches just like this the only reason we want a patch is because they are actually doing patches now

I originally thought it was just a catch, but now that I've seen it happening to other people, I guess it was an actual thing. All I know is, I got my ass kicked coming out of that attack.

I first took him on at Level 30. Then I grinded to Level 40 (I really just needed Dark Splicer, which I got during grinding) and won.

Ah. I took him on at level 25, and was wondering why literally everything he did was killing me.

Then I ground up the materials to make Once More, came back, and it was ridiculously easy.

I actually fought him without Once More, still don't know how to get it. I already restarted into a New Game+ and doing my Meow Wow-only run. (which you know) MEOW WOW IS SO CUTE GAAAAHHH

I got it from a Drak Quack. It's pretty easy to make, and its link check points tend to just revolve around giving it paint.

He really pissed me off at the end of the fight, when you get him to 1hp and then he gets another bar of health you have to just keep pressing a until his health runs out. Because if you aren't able to heal right before this happens, he'll kill you before you can kill him. It's really cheap.

The part at the very end you mean. You're actually supposed to time your attacks. You wait for him to charge and then press A to counter him.
