Posted August 12, 201213 yr Right, so the part where Terra fights Braig, you know? It's already pretty silly, as it has Terra believe Braig was able to overpower Xehanort but... The REASON Braig gives for fighting Terra is that he believes that defeating him with grant him the keyblade. But he already has Xehanort chained up. Xehanort is a keyblade wielder. And he's chained up. That makes him a much easier target than Terra. If Braig honestly thought beating a keyblade wielder would give him a keyblade, he would have done so by now. And Terra didn't notice
August 13, 201213 yr If Terra hadn't fed right into MX's plans, most of KH wouldn't have happened. I love and blame him for that.
August 14, 201213 yr Look at you all coming up with excuses. Square messed up, it was a plothole. End of story.
August 15, 201213 yr Braig is clearly not holding such a device, given that both of his hands are busy holding the guns. Senior, it's called pockets, or maybe he even had it on his gun? Though I guess it doesn't matter since he was bluffing, but the fact remains, if he wasn't bluffing and there WAS some sort of remote detonator, then I'm sure Square would have found some way to get it with him. Seriously, he doesn't have to hold it for it to exist ._.
August 15, 201213 yr Terra is a bit stupid anyway, the whole course of the game he gets fooled by pretty much every villain he encounters (oh right, light in a chest, and I have to protect it from a flying boy, makes sense). I agree. He gets manipulated easily by MX, who said the right words to accelerate the plot.
August 16, 201213 yr Author He could have thought Terra would be easier given he's just a wielder and not a Keyblade master? That would be all well and good... but he had Xehanort in CHAINS Braig is clearly not holding such a device, given that both of his hands are busy holding the guns. What about those magical imaginary pockets that hold all of those items characters get, as well as Sora's wooden sword?
August 17, 201213 yr That would be all well and good... but he had Xehanort in CHAINS Maybe he thought that MX could break through the chains whenever he wanted? Or maybe due to his alliance with MX, he thought he could achieve much better rewards by remaining an ally to Master Xehanort, than trying a cheap trick and taking the keyblade while he was chained in their ruse?

Or maybe due to his alliance with MX, he thought he could achieve much better rewards by remaining an ally to Master Xehanort, than trying a cheap trick and taking the keyblade while he was chained in their ruse? Braig didn't actually think he could claim Terra's keyblade. Xehanort being rapped was a ruse, but from Terra's perspective the story makes no sense; he wants to defeat a keyblade master, to claim his keyblade, and he already has one in chains, but only uses that as a bartering chip to ensure ANOTHER keyblade wielder doesn't put up as much of a fight?

August 21, 201213 yr Not dumb. Just rash and doesn't think in the moment. He shows those traits a few times.
August 24, 201213 yr Terra doesn't exactly have the best rationalization skills...I think that was pretty obvious. I think it's funny that at first, they make it seem like Terra's all dark and stuff, when in reality he's just easily manipulated towards bad purposes, meaning to do good the whole way, and in the end, he kind of just breaks.
August 25, 201213 yr well in the game Braig kinda kidnapped Xehanort...so he didn't defeat him..still it was a trick
