This is something that had picked at me for a while. Near the beginning of DDD, Lea wakes up and discovers that him and the others are somebodies now. He gets this by looking into the glass and seeing that the marks under his eyes are gone. Now does anyone else have unusual marks that the point them to being nobodies? Namine, Roxas and Xemnas hold a completely different appearance then their somebody counterparts. Everyone else looks exactly like their somebodies but Axel is the only one I've noticed to have a mark or anything. Do the others have something and I just missed it?

I dont think so, everyone else was just either wearing a lab coat or average clothing. But what confuses me was, why was axel wearing a black coat when we woke up instead of normal clothes. That means he was wearing that when he turned into a heartless and a nobody. Why would he be wearing that? He didnt need protection from the darkness, or did he? o.O

Xemnas actually is identical to Terranort besides the tan, silver hair and slightly messier hair. But Roxas [has feelings] and Namine (can't remember why she's special, but I know she is) are special Nobodies so maybe that's why. Saix has an "X" on his face crossing his nose (Double Leon scar)...must of made Seifer pissed the firetruck off. And there's Axels tear marks...well that's it for marks. Idk how he knew he was Human again by looking to see if his marks were gone, but he could probably feel a heart beat or something and then saw his marks were gone.

 

EDIT: Namine is special due to being able to manipulate Soras memories and those connected to him.

Roxas looks different because of Ventus heart inside Sora, and Namine is Kairi's heart inside Sora, that's why they're so different (Sora is a really bad mom)

Xemnas is totally different, yes, i guess it's because Nomura didn't wanted 3 bosses to be the same, with different clothes.

Now, let's see... Axel had those marks...

Ienzo didn't change.

If i recall properly, Xaldin had some extra bard as a nobody.

We haven't seen Saix somebody (Only in BBS), so perhaps, a scar that was left while he was a nobody would not appear when he became a somebody?(I'm not saying he got the scar as a nobody, i'm guessing)

And I also noticed something odd about that. They were both childhood friends and they are the only two members to have marks on their face. Lea's are tears (he was sad?) and Isa has scras (got in a fight?) idk, we might find out more in KH3. Sora might ask him why is tears are gone or something

I tried to look for changes and the only one I found was Xigbar but its pretty random. His hair has some grey strips across the top but again, that just be age...

Ya saix's scar is in the shape of an "x" ... Maybe it has something to do with xemnas considering every members name in the Orginization contains their original name along with an "x" and saix is xemnas' second in command well third behind xigbar, so maybe xemnas gave him that scar as a trust annihilation?...idk, all I know is xemnas loves the letter"x"

And what you said about betraying, an X mark seems to be the exact type of scar two frisbees/chakrams would make on a person's face...

if you're talking about the beginning of the game,that's a flashback of 10 years before Kingdom Hearts 1,and not after KH 2,and Ienzo was just a kid in that scene,it don't make sense

 

 

I think Isa and Xehanort or Isa and Braig have some connection that we don't know,just this.

Unless it's possible Xemnas lied to them and said that they were stll nobodies or something...but I doubt that since they were there when Master Xehanort came back, even momentarily :T

no braig didn't wake up and turned again '...that cuscene is in the beggining when they all turned into nobodies

yup both Xigbar and saix had yellow eyes, but in kh bbs braig had yellow eyes too so maybe hes been half xehanort since he met terra

Lea: teardrop tattoos are apparently the sign of a killer in certain cultures, so they could have been put on him by someone else to signify his role in the Organization. Why he was chosen to be the Org's assassin is completely beyond me...

 

(also he should totally get a phoenix summon or at least a Reraise spell next game >_>)

 

Braig/Isa/whatever we're calling them: Nomura has put forward the theory that they were reborn before the others and taken from that point (and therefore their using their Nobody names would be a sign of their loyalty to Xehanort); any time travel paradoxes could be explained by "they aren't time travelling and instead went physically to TWTNW"

Did you forgot that Hollow Bastion was swalloed by darkness? Maybe at that time he needed to be protect and wore this Coat, after that he was turned into a Nobody by Xehanort.

 

 

I don't want to quote everything, so I just answer at nearly all the facts in this Topic

 

First, everything what you said made me think:

Lea has no Tear-Marks as a Somebody -> I think the reason is: because he made them as a Nobody

 

Then I thought about Saix' scar... It's an "X" as you know... We know since KH3D this "X" is a sigil for the Organisation to locate someone, or maybe even "control" someone. We know Saix had a plan together with Axel. What I want to say is just a bit imagination of my own, but... What if, after Hollow Bastion got swallowed by darkness Lea and Isa were about to Join the Organisation freely, got the Coats and THEN they got turned into Nobodys. But as we know both of them were not really Bad Persons, so they got a Plan for themselves, as we saw in KH days... Later (somewhere between BbS and KH2), Saix got this Sigil of the Organisation, because he wanted to be the second Leader, right after Xemnas... To make sure that Saix won't betray them, they made him this Sigil-Scar o: At this point, he was Introduced in the Real Plan, with 13 Xehanorts and saw that he could have a great Power... He agreed and became a Half-Nort... And then Axel made himself this Marks in his face, the reason should be clear... He "lost" his Friend ...

 

That would be TOO awesome...

 

Just by the way, don't you think they got their "X"-Names because the whole Organisation should become a Xehanort? Most of you are writing something like, they got it 'cause they turned into Nobodys. If it's true (my version of the X-Names) then Saix = Isa(nort) and Xigbar = Braig(nort) ...

Lea probably has the cloak on bc he and Isa became nobodies AFTER the apprentices who by then all knew they would need it once they were nobodies.So they put it on them BEFORE it happened. Since they were suppose to revive in the lab as well that means they were experimented on voluntarily or not ( I believe not .I think they were caught sneaking in the castle again and were then forced)

 

Saix's X is obviously a recusant sigil since its a giant X and he is a NORT now .. Any other vessels recusant sigils may be located in other not so visible places.. Not to mention their Xs in their names as INTENDED vessels for the other apprentices.. Nomura did say that nobodies had subtle differences and some werent in obvious places so that explains some differences like in Axel . ..Obviously Namine and Roxas and even Xemnas are noted to be 'special " though.

 

Braig was implanted back in BBS guys . He was turned after the Terra fight somewhere
