Hey so I've been stuck on this boss for a while now. and I'm looking for a good Command Deck to use, cause I have my strategies down completely, and I don't care about fighting the other two over again, I've already done that so it's not much of a fight, just a waste of time. Either way my command deck, in order, is:

 

Zantetsuken(2 slots)

Curaga

Balloonga

Dark Splicer(2 slots)

Curaga

Dark Firaga

 

So if anyone has any improvements for

then please tell me. I know what to do, but if I can make this fight go quicker then I'll be able to beat him... Thanks in advance.

I replaced that and time storm with Zantetsuken

I didn't use any attack commands (like direct attack with the keyblade sigil). Instead, I used attack magic- two dark firagas, two curagas, ice breaker and a triple plasma

I would recommend getting at least three Cure spells in there. Personally, I go with two Cura and one Curaga. It seems foolish, but Cura recharges quicker, and sometimes you just need a heal on hand immediately, not just the most powerful version of it. For my attack slots, I had Triple Plasma, Ballonara, and Dark Shift, the former two for purposes of long range attack, the latter to teleport you to Ansem after he knocks you back.

you can get meteor by getting an A rank on the dive to TWTNW for the first time for either character

dark splicer, baloonra..and shadowbreaker..2 curagas..try to have once more and second chance ability..because you're going to need it for the last boss..

I used:

Dark aura(2 slots)

Dark splicer(2 slots)

Aerial slam

Dark firaga

Cura

Curaga

I used Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Balloon, and 4 Curagas at level 40 and did it first try. I wanted to make it a bit interesting lol.

 

But my priority would be:

 

Dark Splicer (Because it can teleport you to him.)

Shadowbreaker (Just that mid-speed attack that can do a fairly amount of damge, only with the light part though.)

Dark Firaga (Obviously for a decent damage output.)

Blizzaga (Why? because it doesn't disappear on impact, it keeps piercing the target for a max for 3 hits.)

Balloonga (Because when he backs away this spell can still hit him with the large Balloon and the 6 smaller ones.)

Curaga x 2 (For obvious reasons.)

 

or my absolute favorite:

Dark Splicer

Balloonga/Blizzaga x 4

Curaga x 2

and Dark Splicer can be found in TWTNW in a chest on the wall that has all the blocks the pop out, just flowmotion kick off the far wall and try to get to around the middle of the top section...

Dark aura I got off keeba tigers link tree thing, dark firaga I got from kab cannons link tree(it's the first one unlocked), and I found dark splicer in a chest at TWTNW for riku(its chest 8, In delusive beginning, after you go up the stairs of light there's two rooms you can go to, go to the one that has a gigantic wall with red moving blocks coming out of it and there are 3 chests, one has dark splicer)

First, Rob loves the title of the thread. It doesn't have the bosses name, which is a spoiler, in it. Second, Rob had Shadowbreaker, dark splicer, thunder plasma(?).

Dark Firagas work really well.

I beat the boss with Dark Splicer, Cura, Curaga, Firaga, Shadowbreaker and Dark Break...yeah, I think that's all of them. I also struggled with

Ansem's second form

but Dark Splicer helps alot, especially when he's pushing you away.

 

Oh, and having the Leaf Bracer ability helps too!

Also can someone tell me of a dream eater that gives you the once more ability? I have second chance, just not Once More, also cure boost and dark screen would be nice...

Once More: Flowbermeow, Tyranto Rex, Drak Quack. And you don't need it, Leaf Bracer and Second Chance will see you through as long as you don't just button mash.

 

I still don't understand how people find this boss hard. What exactly about him makes you guys want to tear your hair out?
