Giovanni or Ghetsis? who's the real main primary antagonist of Pokemon?

Featured Replies

Ghetsis is like master xhanort and Giovanni is like vanitas

Opinions anyone?

Neither. If your going by the games there is no one singular primary antagonist. The leader of each generation's respective criminal organization is on equal footing with the others.

well Giovanni has lasted since beginning of series, but his goals arent that bad. All though id like to think him as main antagonist

There is no main primary antagonist.

It obviously wouldn't be Ghetsis.

Depends on which game you are.

If you're talking about the anime, Giovanni appeared a lot more than any other antagonist, but he's not considered the main antagonist.

And I'm not sure if Giovanni's the main antagonist in the manga.

Giovanni may be the Big Bad of the overall franchise, but Ghetsis clearly has him beat in the sociopath-department.

The manga has multiple arcs and villains, like the games.

I think Giovanni is closer to the role of "series antagonist" (though I wouldn't really give that title to anyone), but Ghetsis is definitely a more evil, villainy bad guy.
