Even tough I love the idea of Spirits playing alongside with me.... like my T-Rex or my Necho cat... I miss Donald and Goofy... they're loosing it's own story...they were much better...so as disney characters...

I miss them too so much !!! I miss Donald's impatience and Goofy's wiseness and somewhat intelligence ahahaha !

Yeah, Donald butting heads with Sora was always fun. And goofy always manages to say something wise and keep everyone focused on the plot. Particularly in coded. Goofy was the only one who had the important things in mind. They're kind of weak as party members, though, and with so many keyblade wielders popping up, its hard to say whether or not they'll be party members in kh3. Maybe if they got a bit of an upgrade...

People thought they were useless long before that. And they're just weaker in general in the Kingdom Hearts universe, not just as party members but as characters, too. Even Yen Sid says so; they can't really stand up to keyblade wielders well. I think if they trained and became more powerful--ie Yen Sid could teach Donald some master spells to put him at the level of final fantasy mages, and if goofy learned new moves--it would be better. Although, come to think of it, with their limits in kh2, they weren't too bad...and they usually performed their functions pretty well...but even from Kingdom Hearts 1, it was apparent that Sora was the strongest of the group.

They did alright until you gave them items (one of their real uses against the Extra bosses). No thank you Goofy, I don't need all of my Megalixirs right this instant. When the bosses actually got dangerous, guess who didn't have anything left over?

That would be awesome.Donald and Goofy training under the great yet kinda lazy(he never does anything) Yen Sid.

Wait for KH3.

You could always play kh1 and kh2 all over again if you miss them that much.

I miss them too (though my friend hates them and would rather be solo-partied in the next game)

If KH3 is next I think they should return as party members. It just wouldn't be right without them o:

Ummm i don't know how to put this so i will just say it:

 

Goofy: In kh2 was useless due to change in mana system. In KH he was decent cause he could hold himself and be used as a shield, for me he also used my ethers at the right time.

Donald: Hated him at first then as he leveled up i configured him and soon he was casting basically no offensive magic and just healing me which was always useful.

 

Where as dream eaters almost never heal you, but they are also better at distracting enemies and don't die nearly as much.

I admit they loved to use items, but I could stop them using them so much. It did make everything much easy.

yea I'd rather have Donald and Goofy as my party members than spirits. I just want them to have better AI like the spirits because not one of my spirits ever died, not even during a boss fight!
