While clearing out my house recently, I stumbled across my old PS2 collection and I found my original KH game, bringing back many memories. My friend recommended me to try it and playing it as an eleven year old kid, I was instantly hooked into it. Picking it up again I had the same excited feeling and wanted to play it all over again. So, a thought occurred in my mind.

Has anybody else wondered what this game would be like for the 3DS? It would be an ideal opportunity for newcomers to the series after the release of DDD, which would entice new players to check out all of the other games too. I think they would appreciate the chance to play the original KH, in case they missed the door to play it before.

If they added some new features, as well as some for the veteran players, I think it could be a big success and improve the already impressive KH fanbase. Maybe the final mix features would be a good addition as the game was never released here (in the UK at least). Imagine how awesome the graphics would be after seeing the potential from DDD, and in 3D to top it off.

Anyway, it's just an idea. Thoughts?

I honestly doubt it. If there's any remake, it would most likely be an HD remake for PS3.

This for sure. It would be nice to see a Kh game transfer to a port but that would not be likely for some time.

This. I think it would be for the ps3 because in my opinion, the original KH should stay on a stationary platform.

I doubt KH or KH2 would get a remake for 3DS, to me that sounds like a downgrade,it would be better to keep those two on non handheld devices, if anything like others are saying hd remake or something, the only two games I can see getting a remake for the 3DS are re:coded and days, but more days than re:coded seeing as re:coded itself is a remake so yea ;p

Even if the 3DS engines are better then the PS2 engines, it wouldn't be better if they bring Console Game to a Handheld ... No doubt, it would be firetrucking awesome, but it's not really ... productive xD

It would look amazing on the 3DS, but it doesn't seem very...logical. If Sqaure wanted to make a remake, why release it on a console that hasn't been around long enough to really insure alot of people would be able to play it? It makes more sense to have it as a PS3 release. owo

A PS3 remake would be much better. On the 3DS, it would look.. well, it doesn't really make sense to make a remake for 3DS.

KH Days could possibly get a remake, though.

Final Fantasy 10. Nuff said.

I think if they were gonna remaster this, they'd do it for a future console (PS3, 4) and not a handheld. The game has long periods between saves and unskippable cutscenes, people mighten have the time for that sort of stuff and handhelds are marketed as on-the-go things, were you can easily drop it when you're busy.

If you look on kingdom hearts 3 section it said it on there.

No. Sorry, but I don't like this concept at all.

No more handheld games, remakes or not. The series should go back to consoles, not drift further away from them.
