Featured Replies

I can play every KH like before 3D. No-Flowmotion isn't a problem.

its just my nitpicking since you walk at a slow pace..

It does not ruin other kh games for me...but after kh ddd i was playing kh 2 and tried do use flowmotion....well i just jumped at a wall like an idiot xD

Flowmotion is too awesome... to be included in another KH game.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

You're right, Flowmotion IS too awesome. It really doesn't fit well in KH3D

Every KH game is slightly different in some way with things they implemented so this isnt a problem for me .

Naw, Kingdom Hearts is like a snowflake; from a distance, they all appear to be all the same, but if you look closely, each one is its own unique thing built from the same material, but when it comes down to it, it's mostly just kids who care about that. Also, each one is ridiculously intricate and complicated, but melts under pressure

All of the games have different mechanincs. So, I can still play Kh1 without flowmotion. It makes no difference for me.

LOL Hatok I'm completely confused on if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me xD I think we are agreeing that they all have different things that make the games their "own" yet fun ?

I'm more saying that the differences between KH games are more than 'slight' :P

You know what i meant though . I wont disagree with that :P

I'm pretty sure flowmotion will be in KHIII. Nomura said something along the lines of DDD being a story AND gameplay predecessor to KHIII so fear not, my friend.

HUZZAH... Time to save for a ps3 or wii u ;w;

It wouldn't make too much sense to include flowmotion in 3. It seems to be a Dream Realm thing- and it would brutally butcher physics in the real worlds.

Maybe certain aspect of flowmotion may be preserved, such as certain stunts, but I'm sure it won't appear in its entirety.

Maybe the "gameplay" aspect that will transfer over is the Command Deck, or Dream Eaters, or possibly some customization aspects.

I think you mean 3? And Yeah I really wish they explained WHY you could use flowmotion or what IT IS and wait how would it butcher the physics in kh3?

Good catch! And I would assume (as do many) that flowmotion has to do with the lack of physics in the Dream Realm.

And it would butcher physics because you would be bouncing off walls and then jumping to great heights with no problem.

Well I'm sure some elements of it will return, I don't see why it can't. We don't know how or why flowmotion works and Sora's done some pretty physics defying things like flying/gliding so it's not far off to expect the return of flowmotion in some form, especially since it has so much potential.

Yeah.. but I like the feeling of finally being able to go to the top of buildings with no latters and its a joy to zoom through traverse town after going through it three times.. and yeah the physics.. I think flowmotion was just awesome obviously and it was really nice to be able to move faster and not having to rely on glide for eighty percent of the game to me

Well sora flew in neverland it kinda makes sense he can glide on air sorta but I just wanted An explanation :(

Yep, there's the rationale there.

Well, he's normally "grounded" during most of the gameplay (minus the jumping, but that's most video games) and the explanation for the gliding was provided by NR.

I'm not saying I disliked Flowmotion. I loved it and it was fun, but picture BBS with flowmotion and it takes away from the realistic feel of the game. 3D was supposed to be very dreamlike and like a fantasy.

Thats beauty of it my friend hence the title.. eheheheh

How does the Dream Eaters transferring over make more sense than Flowmotion transferring over?

And since when does Kingdom Hearts care about physics?

Also, the Command Deck is here to stay. It was in BbS, it was in Re:Coded and it was in DDD. It'll almost definitely be in KHIII unless they pull some crazy gameplay mechanic out of nowhere.

I wouldn't be surprised to see flowmotion back, just less flashy and purple, like it was in the first trailer for the game.

I love the BBS command deck and meld system but I don't see it happening for KH3. It would seem out of place.

*Edit* Also, flowmotion is awesome.
