Not sure if this goes here, but I'm pretty sure it does.

Well I found out when organization members die, they don't actually die or well I think they don't. They just fade into darkness. So could that mean that they go to the realm of darkness, so their still alive?

do you think the members die or not 1 member has voted

everyone in kh just "vanishes" when they "die". i dont think they're still alive

No i think they return to there somebody when its possible. when not they probably just disappear

I dont know where but i heard a theory that when they fade into darkness they lose their physical being but their souls remain looking for their hearts. And when they find their hearts they become their somebodies again. I think thats how it went.

Hmph, well if the organization returned to the realm of darkness when they died would Axel still be alive? What I mean is that wasn't Sora and Axel's tag-team fight against nobodies held there? its been awhile since I played KH2 :P But anyways, I don't think they would dissappear forever. Who would Sora fight next in KH3 if that was the case? (In KH1 he fought Xehanort's heartless, then in KH2 he fought his nobody...so he might fight the soul in KH3!!!!)

Yeah but you never know when axel dies? He has died like 10 times so far! lol

But he faked all those deaths. Perhaps he has faked this one as well.

like Axel (or someone else in the Org. XIII in 358/2 days) said Nobodies arent supposed to be here in the first place, so if they are destroyed, nothing is left they just dissappear completely. hope Axel isnt... u know gone :( he was one of the coolest Org. members

Nobodies are incomplete beings. Without a heart. That's why there bodies are slowly fades away to the darkness. That why they seek after Kingdom Hearts.

Well i heard that when a nobody is destroyed. They will wander in the darkness until they meets there own heart. When they meet there own hearts. They'll become complete. And then return to there original forms

If they will be complete when they fade to darkness, why they not just kill themselves?

Vexen, Larxene, and others were afraid of fade to darkness, as something bad....

Or perhaps, they thought they were going to some place far worse. Like a nobody's rendition of Hell perhaps?

I think they died, because they explicitly afraid of fading away.

Yeah, some (i think from namine) said axel is never really dead, he's wandering in the darkness to look for his heart, but this make no sense, technically (if) their heart is in their heartless that is in physical world they won't find their heart in without a being.

(Also, in kh2 axel said "silly, just because you have a second life.." . See, he doesn't have)

Maybe when a Nobody is destroyed, since they have no heart, they just become another Nobody? I know, wierd theory....

It was confirmed in Another Report that if a person's Heartless and Nobody are defeated (in that order), it becomes possible for the Somebody to return. Supposedly, it's also possible the other way around, just more difficult. So the heart/body+soul would probably wait in suspended animation until they meet up with the other parts of the Somebody to become whole again.

well they are already technically dead so they cant die again.....or....can...they:dodgy::-/

Well, it's not like it's gunna be as easy as waltzing into a Sunoco. You try being nothing but a soul and searching for a heart in darkness! Workin' on Kingdom Hearts seems a lot easier than just suicide and Sunocos...

if the nobody and the heartless of a person both are destroyed, then the somebody of that person comes back, i cant remember the source on this x___x gah

hope it helped

It's from Another Report, a Nomura interview included with the pre-order of KH2FM+.

Isn't it great how all previous posts are ignored? We can keep posting the same thing over and over again to bump unnecessary threads :D

/sarcasm.

I don't really think the concept of dying exists in Kingdom Hearts. I believe they go back to the place from which their original selves came, Kingdom Hearts and either stay there to 'sleep' until they're reawakened, or are perhaps become a new being eventually and are released into the world yet again someday as a new born baby, but perhaps they still keep their old heart. That's just a theory I have anyway.

That reminds me of something Ansem SoD said: "Every heart returns to the darkness whence it came." And how within the deepest darkness, there is light. What's the light within the darkness? Kingdom Hearts.

All hearts will return to Kingdom Hearts. In that sense, there is no concept of death, as in death, a person ceases to live. In this case, the heart lives on, though the body may fade away.

But that's just my own theory ;D

I've always thought that the concept of death in Kingdom Hearts was similar to the concept of family within the series. It exists, it just hardly has anything to do with the plot. Which makes wonder about Nomura's family life... Just kidding.
