Posted October 11, 201213 yr Tetsuya Nomura spoke with Dengeki PlayStation about the two Final Fantasy XIII projects in the pipeline. Nomura said his work on Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII has been completed. Lightning and Snow will have new costumes. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still in the development, but Nomura didn’t say how far the game has come along. He asked fans to please wait a while for a follow up report. October 11, 201213 yr Right now I'm more excited about Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII than Final Fantasy Versus XIII; I lost hope for FF Versus XIII long ago.
October 11, 201213 yr What I love about all the wait of VersusXIII is that no matter how long it takes, how much they try to amp up the graphics, how much they promise that the end result will be worth the wait.... it still won't be as good as VI.

What if the reason Versus has been delayed so much is becaus ethey went back and completely reworked it into an HD remake of VI, and they brought back the entire team from the original, and every single scene is being done with HD cinematics and optional voice acting?
October 11, 201213 yr Well, I do intend to play Lightning Returns, since I liked XIII and really liked XIII-2. Hopefully it continues the upward trend for the series. As for FFvsXIII, another update saying progress has been made and to be patient. I really shouldn't be surprised at this anymore.

October 11, 201213 yr ^ I'm expecting it to be pretty metacore from what's known about it so far. I highly doubt it'll be worth all the wait, but after all this time it will sell in the millions quick anyway. October 12, 201213 yr Why? They JUST started working on the game fully THIS year Im saying if the game isnt out by next year my interest in the game will be gone. For a while now that has been my deadline and it will stay that way.
