TCNN (The City News Network) Bulletin:Breaking News: Raul Pottza and collective terrorist group of over 100 stormed the industrial district today and overtook the Keihg Manufacturing Facility and the Iefrix Industrial Complex, calling for the presidents of the competing companies to dismantle their augmentation production immediately, police and news agencies on site, no word from either corporation yet.Current Events Board- Anti-Aug Hostage Situation, Location- The City Industrial District, Characters on-scene- Dain, Jack, Raul, YukaHey Everybody, Veritas here. I've previously made a fairly successful RP that was based around the KH universe, now I want to try something for more unique, thrilling and ambitious. It will require many people, and a strong willingness to have fun and be creative, though I plan to make it as interesting and easy to be a part of this RP as possible. If I can't get enough people, I'll put it on hiatus until later, but if we can get enough people, I assure you I plan this to be unlike any RP you've ever been a part of on this site. Read more if this sounds at all interesting.Welcome to The City. The year is 2034, and the world is a drastically different place. Augmentations have changed humanity, boosted globalization, increased productivity and standard of living, and begun a new era of seeming peace. However, that's only what it looks like on the outside. While the world may be mostly peaceful because of these enhancements, their rise has led to a whole new level of corporation, international juggernauts that wage an invisible war with each other every day. Iefrix International (known as I.I.) and Keihg Technologies (K.T.) are the frontrunner corporations, hosting huge labs which develop tomorrow's technologies ranging from ear pieces, to holo-screens (Glass coated holographic projector screens no thicker than a centimeter which have replace TVs), to robotic prosthetics (which range from human-level, to the expensive and regulated super-human level, and even the classified military-grade).These two companies both happened to start in a southern Washington city that soon grew due to their influence. That city is now the largest and most opulent in the world, so much so that it is simple referred to as The City (by most it is referred to as T.C.). These two companies are at each others throats, fighting in locations around the world for resources and markets. Those who act for these companies are the Agents. These people have full access to the range of weapons tech that their companies supply, and roam the world fighting their enemies. Even S.C. 1 (Space Colony) the first and currently only orbiting habitation satellite is not outside of the companies reach. Both companies have shrewd and combative Presidents, who will stop at nothing to see the other company fall. While they fight all over the world, the true fight is where both companies are headquarters, The City, and neither will stop until the other is ashes, even if it sets the very world on fire.So, the setup here is an agent or president of either Iefrix International, or Keihg Technologies. I will allow two people to act as police partners investigating both companies. The inciting event (I will begin with it once we start) will begin in The City, and all characters will begin there, but feel free to go around the world and even into space (I will create events and constantly update the situation in this original post which can be referenced at all times for current objectives. I will also update the story in the thread itself every 3 pages, and compile the story up to the present in this post as well. Now, onto the rules:-Only one character is allowed per person, there will be so much happening that there will be no time to go off on your personal story, all interaction should be with other players (the exception is a very minor side character or two that you use to further events as you need, if you make more than 3 posts acting as a character besides your primary, I will give you a single warning and that will be it. I don't want anyone go off on their own tangent for an extended period of time.-Be creative! Have a cool character that other people want to interact with and make sure you have them do interesting things. Send messages to other players if you want to plot. I don't want to impede your creativity, so don't feel the need to consult me in order to plot with other players or create a twist, so long as it follows the rule below.-Do not godmod, but even more important, do not give yourself a spontaneous advantage over other players. I see the "I teleport behind you instantly" all too often, and that is not fair to the other player. If you are fighting, do not specify whether your attack connects, allow your opponent to decide that. If you are being attacked, allow yourself to be injured sometimes, everyone's mortal.-Obscene language is completely okay, given the situation. I leave it to your discretion in saying don't over do it, otherwise, do what you feel is right for your character.-Use parentheses for comments outside of the RP once it has begun, feel free to ask questions, though remember to use messages if there's no need to comment on things to everyone.Here's the character sheet, to reiterate, anyone can be an agent (augmented), one person to be the president of each company (commanding all agents within their company) and two people to optionally be police officers (non-augmented but with the power of the police force behind you, and the two cops are partners).Augmentations can include limb augs (including guns and blades), eye upgrades, computer interface upgrades, internal upgrades, ect. Appearance: Resembles Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach but with purple hair and is always seen dressed in a black tuxedo with white gloves.

Augmentation(s): Black flames that appear on parts of his body at whenever and wherever he pleases during battle.

Bio: Jack always had a suspicion that all augmented agents weren't extraordinary people. He feels there is no need to have "enhancements" to your body to get a job done. He also haves an obssesion with having countless weapons, placed everywhere in his house with various hidden compartments mixed with past and current technology.

Bio: Alysande was a regular girl until she got a hold of a bow. She became an Olympian at age 16, and a Gold Medalist in the Archery event. Later, she became accustomed to the sniper rifle, which she was even more proficient at. She worked hard, and became an assassin, but that work out too well until KT got a hold of her. They enhanced her biological make up, and gave her the best assassin's tools in the world, with a brilliant bow, sniper rifle, and a trusty dagger always at her side.

Appearance: Yuka has black, a little past her shoulder length hair. Her right eye is a goldish-brown and her left eye a navy blue. Yuka’s left eye has the symbol of The Star of David imprinted on it. She wears a short sleeved black, knee-length dress with white lace unevenly wrapped around the waist line of the dress. Yuka wears felt boots with silver chains wrapped around them and black tights. To cover Yuka’s left eye and the symbol, Yuka wears a white eye patch with a black cross with thorns wrapped around it and the number “105” Imprinted on the top. The meaning of the number is still unknown to her. She has a black cross necklace with a sapphire in the middle of the cross. She also has a silver locket with a black and white picture of her mother in the locket. Yuka has a slanted scar across her left eye, but her eye patch covers most of the scar. (Explained in Biography)

 

Bio: Yuka was the last born of nine. She was the ninth child with eight brothers and sisters. Her parents wanted to make Yuka ‘Special’. One day when Yuka was five years old after being beaten; like whipped, starved, left out in the cold, and other horrible things. They brought Yuka to a facility where they engraved the Star of David In her eye, making her eye the navy blue and causing the slanted scar across her eye. It took her three years to recover. She was eight now and her father sent her

to the clock tower he built, letting Yuka play with the bells. The hourly ringing became more of a career to her as she grew up. Three days after her 12^th birthday, her mother came to the clock tower door, giving Yuka a package, then imminently leaving. One thing you should know is that Yuka’s mother and father where not in a well relationship. The package contained Yuka’s eye patch, to cover her eye. The next day, Yuka’s father killed her mother right in front of Yuka’s eyes. Her father vanished from the city, barely keeping contact with Yuka through letters. Heartbroken from her mother’s death, Yuka worked in the clock tower; her oldest brother comes to visit her every two days. In her spare time, Yuka works for the police as an off-scene mystery solver, quickly solving cases. On the other hand, Yuka is not allowed to leave the clock tower unless needed or unless is allowed to leave.

 

Augmentation: Her left eye and The Star of David imprinted in her eye. She is telepathic and can foresight some things.

iAD, Iamkingdomhearts1000, Ultimus Grid, Yuffie, KW895 and Sodom, I've looked over all your applications and I'm happy to say that not only are you all certainly accepted, but you all have made some great characters, and I can't wait to see them in action.

 

As far as starting, I'm going to wait just a bit longer and see if we get any more applicants, then, given the number and the groupings (Company agents, presidents, police, ect) I will decide if I need to make any adjustments to the setup to make the RP function better, and then I'll fill any significant needed characteers myself and we'll begin there. I'd like anyone and everyone who would have any interest to give it a shot. I'd like people to be dedicated but people certainly shouldn't be afraid to just give it a shot. If we don't get enough people it wouldn't work out the same anyway, so anyone that wants to should. If you want to ask around Sodom I'd appreciate it. I'll look to start it in a day or so, it seems like a long wait time but I want as many people as possible to pull this off the best.

Okay, well we've got a good number ATM, so I'll post my two character roles that I'll use to fill outstanding gaps, then I'll begin it tomorrow morning, so everyone can be ready to begin. As I've said, the current situation will be constantly updated in the Original Post, so keep going to that for new missions to go on and new happenings around the world. Along with my two characters I will post one-off posts from other characters perspectives to open up events that will draw the characters and companies together into conflict, such as the first post I will make tomorrow morning to begin the RP. These events will become focal points to continue the conflict between the two corporations. More people and apply and join in AT ANY TIME.

Name: Devyn Jaern

Appearance: Devyn wears his trademark tailored suit that has jet black pants and jacket with a black button down shirt, and a silver vest, with not tie. His hair is a dark blonde and his eyes are a light shade of green.

 

Bio: Devyn was left orphaned at a young age, and after coming to hate the orphanage he felt trapped in, he soon went to work at a local factory. He had impeccable planning skills and through work, theft, and scamming, he made enough money for a college education at a local college. He graduated in 3 years and knew immediately where he wanted to go; the city. He wanted to create something god for once, and take something for his own when everything else had been denied. He wanted to be important, to matter, he wanted to change the world. It took him two years after joining Keihg Technologies to become Vice President, and three years afterward he caused a stir when he was given the position of President over Joseph Keihg, the family heir it was supposed to go to. For six years he has build Keihg to even greater heights than it was before, and has no intention of stopping.

Appearance: Dain has mechanical implants all over his body, and over that he wears a composite armor of varying light metals. He wears fingerless gloves, and his eyes have turned a cloudy grey from augmentations, while his hair has gone a jet black.

 

Bio: Dain was a deeply connected person. The things he loved and agreed with, he would fight to the death to protect. He grew up in a middle class family in the City, but joined the military immediately after high school. He developed connections to the men around him and became deeply angry and conflicted when he saw them die around him in the most merciless battle recorded for decades, of which he and few others survived. He then came back to his home, and received augmentations from I.I., he wanted to be able to protect the people and things he loved, even if it meant getting augs. But by then he no longer had people or things to fight for, he found I.I.'s goal noble, and so he joined them as a security consultant. He did such good work that he then became an agent, and through his skill, dedication, and mercilessness for the job, he became one of the very best Iefrix International has to offer, at the beck and call of Albert at all times.

 

Augmentation(s): Body-wise augs that allow him to turn invisible for quite some time, while draining his energy greatly to sustain it. He also has a built in silenced pistil that can deploy from his arm. Both his arms are nearly fully mechanical, and he is also an expert of hand to hand combat.

And with this post, the RP begins, you all can post immediately. As I will do several times during the RP, this opening post will not be made from the perspective of any of my characters, but from another character outside of the cast used to create a new focal point for the ongoing competition between the two companies. Please see the opening post for update event news.

 

 

Raul paced down the corridor. Suddenly a light flooded in brightly from the window. "Dammit!" He thought to himself. "They've already got helicopter here? Hmp... what else did I expect from the metallics...". He quickened his pace and made it into the next room, a huge warehouse area where his men were gathering the hostages to be relocated to the basement, where it was safer from any intrusions.

 

"Sir!" Gordon Verrit, Raul's second in command approached him. "Raul, sir, we've got the hostages almost all relocated, and we've got sentries at all the exits with the assault rifles you ordered them to carry, but we've got police sirens not too far off, it would be best to send the message now."

 

Raul smiled. "Thank you, Gordon, go off to help them co-ordinate, I will meet with our brothers to transmit the message." Gordon walked off and Raul scanned the room, eventually settling his eyes on the setup his men had assembled in the corner. There was a single camera, a backdrop of red and black, and several wires running to different locations. Raul approached them.

 

"Are we connected?" he asked.

 

"Yes sir!" the camera technician answered. "We'll have a live stream in seconds that we've wired directly to the offices of Iefrix International and Keihg Technologies, as well as the local T.C. news channel. Please, sir... whenever you're ready..."

 

Raul laughed. "I'm as ready as I will ever be, brother." He walked to the stage area where the camera was pointed adjusted himself, and gave a thumbs up. Once the camera operator has counted down with his fingers to zero, Raul began his speech.

 

"Dear metallics, that is, you bastards who are okay with exchanging your humanity for some nice shiny new arms are legs. Yeah, you at Iefrix, and Keihg, you're both one and the same. I've taken over the manufacturing subsection of The City's industrial district. I have your workers, I have your managers, I have all the people who help you deliver your crap across the world. I am Raul Pottza and I am the leader of the brave men and women who will stand up against you! We have both of your damned factories, and you aren't going to make another robot arm or leg as long as we do. You're both devils, and I'm not gonna let you keep doing what your doing. I have over hundreds of people from both the Keihg Manuacturing facility and the Iefrix Industrial Complex, and unless I see the presidents of both of those companies within 5 hours- and don't pretend you can't get here that fast- I will kill....everyone. After that I will burn this place to the ground. When you get here, Mr. Presidents, you're going to start shutting these places down immediately, I want these places dismantled within the week. I will stay here every moment until then. And if you think I am joking, you wouldn't like to see me prove it. Oh, and don't try to do your damned corporate funny business and try to sneak in with your metallics, things won't turn out well for them if you do! 5 hours! Raul out!"

 

When the camera was cut the men around him cheered. "Enough!" he shouted. "Now comes the hard part, because we all know the metallics aren't gonna lets these places go without a little bloodshed, make sure it's theirs."

 

He walked away from the cheers. Police, reporters, company agents, they'd all be here soon.

 

The only question was; what would happen next?

Yuka's brother walked in to the half-library rather large room with the organ in the middle, all made a bricks and smelt highly of metal. "Yuka, you should look at this." he said, placing a newspaper beside her. "Joah? Your here already? Is it seriously that late in the week?" Yuka asked, closing her red covered book. "It's the 12th Yuka...." Joah sighed. "That would explain why there is a lot of news...." she sighed, picking up the newspaper. She quickly read the paragraph about somebody named 'Raul' said. "What dose this have to do with me Joah? I have to stay here." Yuka stated. "Yes, I know but you DO work with the police-" he said but was interrupted by Yuka. "Listen Joah, If they want me to go somewhere then they better call me there because I can't go without permission, it was fathers rule, remember?" Yuka said. "Yes Yuka...." Joah sighed, paying Yuka's head. "Time?" she asked. "11:26..." Joah replied. "Perfect time. Go find me something to do...I'm bored..." Yuka complained, throwing the paper across the room. "Your so careless, no wonder this place is a mess..." Josh said. "Calm down and do what I said you dunce!" Yuka yelled. "Okay, Star." Joah mocked, using Yuka's nickname.

Albert was sitting on his desk... a pile of paperwork was extended on it... but many of them weren´t readed. He has a coffee cup on hand watching the news on the display in his office. - Mmmm so... that´s what they think? a guerilla tactics used on my company? mmm i´m not against their doings on Keith technologies... but... mmm , he was saying while pulling out his phone. Then he walked to the window on his office.

 

The top of Iefrix Incorporated´s Tower allows a nice view of the City, but for now.. the call was the only thing on his mind. Hey it´s me... yes yo had seen the news? well there is your job now. Think you can handle it? ... ... mmm I see... very well i trust this mission on you Dain. Then he cut-off the call.

 

he sat again on his desk then he, using the pad on his desk, displayed a 3D virtual screen ... -Access data reseach of the trasmitter used on that video... searching coincidences... spectrum Analyze.... - Mmmm ok... lets play their game then. he said as he played with the engineer keys on his hand.

Jack was at his house, cleaning some of the many guns he had on his favorite wooden chair. He puts them down to take a drink of water and turns on the living room t.v. He flipped through many channels, but stopped on one with the news. Hmm, a predicament involving the two big companies huh? Even though I don't agree with some of eithers' principles and on my night off, I better go to the scene. Can't risk any hostages to get injured, or worse. Besides, I would have been called in as an extra measure. Jack gets off of his chair, grabs two handguns, one assault rifle, shotgun, and a briefcase. He carriers them to his car, quickly got in the drivers seat, ignited the engine, and storms off with a siren wailing.

A small rift opened up outside where Yuka was, causing a ringing sound and Jake fell out and landed on his back. "Ow, i can't believe i was on a subway track twenty seconds ago....with a train coming at me." Jake said to himself. Jake started to brush some of the dust off of his jacket. "That's the last time i leap before i think." said Jake. "Hey, wait a minute, this isn't where i wanted to go, i wanted to find that guy capturing K.T. operatives, (Sigh), oh well, best to just look around here for now, it's not like i'm gonna run into any trouble around here, when's the last time i did?" Jake asked himself as he surveyed the area. "Now, if i were a kidnapping protestor, where would i be?" asked Jake.
