So, it's been bugging me for a while now, so I just thought I'd say it

So, around 4:45, as you all must remember, Xigbar says "We see much bigger and better things in your future... Once you side with us"

So what were he and Xemnas thinking? That Sora would just say "Oh, well, you got me. Your argument is completely valid, and i'll just deny everything I fought for and forget about about my friends and betray them. i'll go with you guys"

Could there be any reason he did that? I honestly can't think of any...

Here's something I've picked up on. Except for that once part in DDD when he talks about the org's true plans, never listen to anything he says.

It wouldn't matter really once Sora had been norted he would have done whatever they said regardless what Sora's previous disposition was. Also you gotta remember in Xigbar's mind it was all but fact that Sora was about to be norted, all that was left was for Sora to submit to it. That's why Xigbar was shocked that regardless what he had just been told, his faith in his friends and the keyblade remained resolute.

Exactly .Also his job was to troll and to help drawl Sora deeper and deeper into sleep while at it ..

They honestly shouldn't be surprised by Sora always having a good comeback by now. Not that it really mattered; beating Xemnas was a hollow victory. He still got put to sleep and very almost norted.

But if he only had to troll Sora, he wouldn't be surprised... And Sora's behaviour was predictable...

True, it wouldn't matter once Sora was gonna be their vessel, but why would they even try with a "normal" Sora? You said they thought Sora had already submited himself to the Organization, but he still had faith in his friends and they couldn't control him because of that? I didn't really understand the last part of your post...

Don't snort the Nort Sora!

He was surprised that Sora didnt fall for what he was saying ..However he was able to help stall Sora enough to drawl him deeper and deeper into sleep so his heart would fall into darkness and he couldnt wake up ..Then he could be Norted ..They believed that it was Soras destiny to be a vessel but Sora had faith in his friends and the power he drew from them ...

See? Sora even know not to listen to him. :P

Actually I said all that was left was for Sora to submit to the situation lol but no biggie. Most people would have broken down and gave up when presented with the situation that Braig and Xemnas presented Sora with. They pretty much told him "Hey we were pulling the strings the entire time and everything you know about us was a lie. Btw your defeat is now assured." But despite all that Sora's faith in his friends the source of his power remained resolute. Braig was suprised, even scared that despite all their planning Sora's faith strong enough to will him to fight what in Braig's mind was an ironclad fate.

Hey you can't blame a guy for trying ;)

Genius. Never could have thought of that.
