Roxas is a very interesting character. The fact that he is Sora's nobody, carried Ventus's heart, Axel's best friend ,and a keyblade wielder.

But I need conformation on this: Roxas grew his own heart, right? But he also carried Ventus's heart. Therefore, he had two hearts (or a hearts and a half).

 

P.S. I think Roxas will have a great role to play in KHIII.

P.S.S I think he will be back in full flesh with his own keyblade kicking ass with Lea. Their reunion, if it will happen, will be so awesome. I am going to cry so hard.

And yes: his place is in the series does not leave a lot to be desired...I think he'll definetly have a good role to play in KH3, even if he's not one of the 7 Lights.

Enabling her use of the Keyblade... It was just a theory, I never really understood it fully, so I was hoping you could clear that up

I'm not sure exactly what you are saying but Xions death awakened the ability for Roxas to dual wield through Vens heart .This was confirmed by Nomura..Also Xions keyblade was fake so Roxas dual wields with Soras and Vens keyblades also confirmed by Nomura
