I have a question do you want Sora's voice to be the same from the actual kingdom hearts in kingdom hearts 1.5. The reason is because I like sora's squeky voice and I would like it if they put his squeky voice in 1.5. Do you want his squeky voice?

I could imagine them using his original voice and improving the quality of the sound, but I could also see them having some of the actors revoice things.  It's hard to say which one will happen.

 

As for what I would like to hear, I'm not sure.  They both could work, but I think it might be better if they actually redid the VAing for some characters.

OMG Don't even get me started with Aerith in KHII. They should have kept Mandy Moore. She was MUCH better that whoever the heck did her voice in II. I think I died inside every time I had to hear her speak!

Aerith needs to be redone in kh 2.5 Her voice needs to be change as well as her face. Especially her eyes and mouth they messed up alot in aerith.

For the Japanese version, Square did say that they were going to re-voice the quality because the original Kingdom Hearts wasn't equipped with Surrond sound.

Yeah. For some reason when the 14 year old sora model speaks with kh2 sora's voice it just sounds...wrong.

if there r extra cutscenes that has sora in it but wasnt in the original KH 1, it would probably unlikely that HJO would voice it.but maybe Square Enix can take individual words from KH 1 & combine them to make cutscenes.

I'm torn. Haley's voice work has gotten better, (compare the destruction of DI in Kh1 to the same scene in Re:coded) But the original has Billy Zane as Ansem SoD so...

And, it's pretty much assumed that there will be new voice acting in the Japanese version because KHFM HD will be in Japanese, while the original FM was in English with Japanese sub-titles. Even the new scene with Xemnas (MF) was in English using copy-and-pasted lines from other parts of the game.

No Merna did NOT voice Aerith in Crisis Core or Advent Children that was Andrea Boweri, and she did a HECK of a lot better than Mena. Invite Boweri back. She was descent. 

Ok so Mena didn't voice Aerith in CC, but she did in Advent. I just looked it up and watched the end credits to make sure. Andrea Bowen voiced "Girl" (Moogle Kid/Moogle Girl) in AC, then went on to replace Mena as Aerith in CC and Dissidia 012. Since Andrea is apparently Aerith's new official VA they'll probably use her for 1.5 and 2.5 if they are released and re-voiced in NA/PAL territories.

Like it or not, even if 2.5 is re-voiced Aerith will keep her KH 2 voice because Mena Suvari is her official VA. She voiced Aerith in KHII, Advent Children, and Crisis Core.

I like his original voice better. The childness of it just sounds good.

They'll change the english voice acting to japanese voice acting which they already have from the original japanese version of KH1, and then they might voice some of the new scenes which lacked voice acting in the previous version of KHFM but, there has been no mentioning of re-voicing some of the scenes which already has voice acting.

Well This topic has taught me alot of voice acting... I need to get sleep.

I would like them to keep his squeaky voice and with other HD remakes I've played (for example Sly Cooper) they've kept their original voices so we can only hope!

Ugghh Don't talk about hope it makes you think it could happen but once it pasts and doesn't happen it hurts you even more than it would've done without hope.
