I'm actually really surprised at the number that don't buy games because it lacks a box. There is a bunch of great games to download out there you really are missing out!

 

I'd rarely download a game if it had a retail version though. Mainly because I prefer playing games on their respective machines rather than having to rely on my ever so strange pc.

There's never been any download only games I want

and when given the option of either retail or download, I always get retail.  I prefer having the physical copy.  If my pc or anything formats or breaks, I lose the game.  Sure on some systems I could redownload it but it's good to just have the disc and reinstall.

Well I have 65 games in Steam I also have quite lot from PS+

 

I have still more physical copies of games if I count every single consoles. 

Yup, I bought Final Fantasy VII from the PSN.

With a fast internet connection and plenty of hard drive space there are few reasons not to download all of your games online. I have both so I download most of my games. 

 

Downloading is just better overall. You don't need to worry about damaged disks, lost CD Keys, lost disk, slow load times and all the other issues that have plagued disks and cartridges for ages.

 

The only time I ever buy actual game disks anymore is if I'm trying to get a collector's edition of the game, or isn't available for download yet. 

 

 

Doesn't feel the same without the box and the game itself.
