Description

 

It's back for it's fourth consecutive year. The GMV Contest is a contest held yearly by Sora96. It puts some of the best video editors on KH13 against each other to decide who is number one. The contest continues to grow more and more popular each year and I hope it continues that way this year. 

 

How to enter

 

To enter you must simply reply to this topic with a video you've made by January 13, 2013. You can use any video that you've made. It doesn't matter when it was made.

 

Rules

 

All videos used in this contest must use clips from the Kingdom Hearts series and/or Final Fantasy series. 

 

If you do decide to make a new video I recommend you render it in HD 720p. However if you render it in 480p or even 1080p it won't affect your position or chance of winning in this contest unless the quality is poor. I want all videos to be in the highest quality possible.

 

The minimum length of all videos is 30 seconds. There is no limit.

 

Prizes

 

After the contest is completed you will be able to add to your Member Title, Profile and/or Signature a message saying where you finished in this contest. Eg. "The GMV Contest of 2013 Champion!". You've probably seen other members with this from past years.

 

Likes will be awarded throughout the contest on both your posts and your videos. 

 

I will subscribe to some YouTube channels.

 

Through this contest your videos and your channel will most likely gain a boost in views, likes and subscribers.

 

The winner of The GMV Contest of 2013! will also be given the chance to see the next chapter of the 358/2 Days manga in English for the first time! DChiuch won't even have seen it yet!

It's done!  For a second there I actually thought I wouldn't be the last one to finish... well that didn't happen.

....Okay, there is no way I'm getting past this round. Ah well I'm still pleased I made it this far anyway.

FurySpark has defeated FireRubies1 in the first Semi Final.

 

khoathkeeper13 has defeated Charlotte Kinouchi in the second Semi Final.

 

The GMV Contest of 2013 Grand Final will be: FurySpark (The GMV Contest of 2012 Champion!) v khoathkeeper13 (The GMV Contest of 2011 Champion!)

 

If that wasn't enough hype.These two faced off in The GMV Contest of 2011 Grand Final. It was so close it was called a draw and a replay was played out with khoathkeeper13 winning.

The deadline for the replay is the end of March. However if you need an extension let me know in advance please.

I remember in 2011 when I finallllyy had my video done, I posted it and was all excited to see who won and then.... draw. Not-so-done. OTL I was lazy and reused a video but I had a little panic attack when I thought I had to make another one.

Watch it be another draw... Watch it. (I'll be lazy and reuse another video, but still.)

I guess it's a good thing it's another tie 'cause I thought FurySpark was gonna beat me, but it's not over yet!
