Posted January 8, 201312 yr just asking, to be honest, i'm more comfortable with reading paperback Edited January 8, 201312 yr by Villi1997
January 8, 201312 yr I don't really have any preference. Unless the book has unusual dimensions then it really doesn't matter to me. I prefer to buy hardcover books though because they tend to last longer and people can't fold the spine easily (that's one of my pet peeves, people folding the spine) but when it comes down to actually reading the book there is no difference.
January 8, 201312 yr I prefer hardcover, it keeps the pages in better shape. And keeping books like new is veryyyy important to me.
January 8, 201312 yr Probably paperback novels, because I can easily stuff more of them on my shelf and it's easier to drag around.
January 9, 201312 yr I prefer hardcover if I can get it for a good price. Otherwise I'm alright with either.
January 10, 201312 yr paperbacks are usually smaller, cheaper, and I like them more. Unless the hardcover has pictures/illustrations... Like the Dark Tower series.........
January 10, 201312 yr I find reading paper back books to be much more comfortable. However, I do like keeping my books in good condition, so hard cover works best. Especially if they have dust jackets (which most do), I can remove the jacket, take the book to school (where I do most of my reading), then when I'm done I can put the jacket back on and the book still looks great.
January 12, 201312 yr I like both for different reasons. I'll usually get a paperback because it's cheaper, but I don't really prefer one over the other.
January 12, 201312 yr I prefer hardcover, since paperback books get bent easily and the spine gets damaged more. :I
February 15, 201312 yr I prefer hardcover because they're stronger, but paperback is cheaper and needs less space...
February 15, 201312 yr prefer hardcover, paperbacks break on me after awhile. haven't had a hardcover break on me yet sooo..yeah.
just asking, to be honest, i'm more comfortable with reading paperback
