I went to the area in TWTNW that has those purple laser beams and just pushed my KK there to die, this worked however took an incredibly long time

 

This is a strategy I found googling:

i go to the world that never was and i let them stand near the laser things in one of the areas and i watch then die slowly

I found out you can take the spirit out of your party and heal yourself then put it back in and it won't be healed, but you can only open the menu when there are no enemies around so just leave the fight and then go back to it.

Darksplicer. Or just Flowmotion them to death.

I've never intentionally killed my dream eaters, but the only time dream eaters died on me was in a secret portal.

Suicide DE kill- Lasers in TWTNW

Regular kill- Mash that attack button

You either spam the A button or spam the A button and the X button and D pad until you're health is low and then you heal and return to battling.

 

EDIT: OH and Dream Eaters?You just let them die by moving away from the enemies and letting you're Dream Eater(s) fight them alone and don't do whatever is it says to revive,then it explodes.
