KH 2.5 HD Remix: 3DS Games are being ported over to Consoles, Dream Drop Distance Port Possible

Posted

Resident Evil: Revelations, a previously 3DS exclusive game, is being ported/remade for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. This is quite cool and makes the possibility of Dream Drop Distance being included in "KH 2.5 HD Remix" higher. I have seen numerous people talking about how the game shouldn't be included in this collection because it's "too new." But, logically, this game should be included more than BBS. 3D is the newest instalment in the series and is vital for people understanding the next instalment (hopefully 3). Nomura has stated that he wants to make the story easily accessible and this is the best/easiest way. Square Enix would want people to become excited for KH3, and forcing people to play through a game three times (which BBS does essentially) would create fatigue. Having 3D and 2 would be the best plan as they would be the easiest to port/remaster and are (arguably) the best games, least repetitive etc.I think most people's complaints about 3D being included stems from them feeling ripped off from being forced to buy a 3DS for KH3D.Oh, and I'm sure this way the collection would be ported to Wii U too, so that's something for all you Nintendo fanboys :)

Well, we'll find out when Nomura announces the titles for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix. KH3D might be on there, it may not.

true true most people post things like this for no reason no matter what we say it has no meaning in it cause where not the creator

Amen to that. We can only guess and hope we are lucky in guessing correctly (which won't happen most likely). It is the same for the KH3 story and gameplay. I recommend giving opinion for this stuff, but I do not recommend clinging to claims of your's and "betting" on them.

you should never do that it always ends horrable for you usually besides i like giving my opinions but i like to let the creator's surprise me with amazing features as well

Exactly! It's never ends good when one claims and ends up wrong. That's why I recommend that no one claims and let themselves be surprised.

Indeed. Since KH3D is on a newer and better console and the graphics are better than BbS, what point is there into remastering it at all? It is also the newest title thus far. I say there is no point into remastering it for the PS3. Do you agree?

The point is not so much the remastering but bringing it to a home console to be played by non-3DS owners such as myself.I think it's very likely it'll be part of the next collection. Either as a cutscene collection or hopefully playable. Another thought I had is they might release 2.5 with only three titles and leave KH3D as a standalone port for the PS Store (I can see them thinking that 4 titles in one collection is way too awesome and split it up for the sake of squeezing more money out of us, possibly also further stalling until KH3 and to give more time to properly port KH3D and change the 3DS specific gimmicks).

Well, as darklunatic and I have concluded, we won't know until Nomura opens his mouth and says so.

The collections are not strictly about the HD remastering. Thats a perk. Not the point. The point is to get all oglf the games onto one console, to help create a new audience, to help bolster the existing audience, and to appease the people who Kh1 and 2 and then refused to touch another game unless it said III on the cover.

Not to have 3D in at least cutscene form would ruin one of the collections best points.

what i want in 2.5 is KH2FM,KH:recoded (movie),KHDDD

and after you finish all the games including 1.5 you get to play BBSFM

what i am afraid of that they might release bbsfm as its stand alone title by the name 0.5 to suck out more money

how ever if they did release it in hd i would pay 30 dollars to buy it
