The series would've been better if each Disney boss had their own theme

Posted

I question why they all had to share one theme. If Shimomura made a instrumental version of their themes, but make it sound like it belongs in Kingdom Hearts, the game would have been SO much better. I mean, it's awesome by itself, but it would've increased for me tenfold if themes for each Disney boss were made. It would take more work, yes, but it still would be great. I found someone who made an awesome theme for Frollo on YouTube.

I've seen this before, but important characters for the role get their own theme, not secondary characters.

If Disney bosses would get their own theme, people would think that Frollo would appear again in the end of the game as the FInal Boss.

It would be cool but, as you said, too much work for the music composers to actually do.

It would be too much work for secondary characters. And some worlds wouldn't be able to have their own theme, because their bosses are heartless or other enemies.

Most importantly, Shimomura doesn't see the movies when she makes the tracks, she creates them based on the game. She mentioned that in an interview, saying how she would kinda steal the track Disney made, and I agree with her. Of course, this idea is good, and it would be cool, but I like the trakcs the way they are, they are just perfect! xD

It would be cool, and i'd have liked it but I doubt they'd put in the work and money for secondary Villians.

It would be cool, but too much work for shimomura, is ok as they are.

Actually when I heard that there was going to be a hunchback of notredame world I was crossing my fingers that Shimomura would use hell fire or the belles of notre dame in some sort of way, same for the tron legacy world, I was crossing my fingers for some daft punkish version of the music there but I'm glad with what the final products for those worlds became.

Like everyone else has said it would be a lot of work, and she doesn't listen to the disney songs while she's trying to compose so yeaa.

True it would be cool but as said before it'd take a lot of extra work.

There's a ton of games where every individual boss has it's own theme. Zelda Twilight Princess comes to mind, where even all the mini-bosses had separate themes.

that would've been nice but too much extra work

I'm fine with their current themes, but the effort put in to make each Disney boss more unique would be really cool.
