February 1, 201312 yr I think that, like all the other 'Norts he was gathered by YX. Also, he's the most powerful Heartless so he can probably do things others can't, like enter sleeping worlds for example. We already know that, unlike other heartless which are driven by instinct, Ansem SoD is capable of forethought, as well as human speech. So I guess the real question here is, "why not?". Also the only reason Heartless can't enter the RoS is because there are no lanes connecting it to the other realms, so finding a way to enter it requires a level of intelligence that the other Heartless lack. February 1, 201312 yr Ansem's always been a special case. I bet if Sora had become a heartless again, he'd be able to go into the dream world because he was still self aware.

February 1, 201312 yr YMX took him there, like all of the other Xehanorts. It's like, Dark Portals can't take you from the "reality" to the Dream Worlds, it's not like they can't exist there, it's just very difficult to get access to there. And Ansem is not any mindless heartless, like the others.

But that was for the common heartless, as they chased the hearts of the worlds, if there is not a way to enter, how could they "devour" the sleeping worlds hearts? Ansem is a special case, because he is a heartless who has a strong will, allowing him to preserv his human form and his own self. As he was summoned by Young Xehanort, he found a way to enter the Realm of Sleep. But that´s the only exception to the rule. Normal heartless or factory heartless cannot enter the realm of sleep without a path to follow. (Geez... I sounds like Flaming Lea? O.o Well she can explain this better.) February 1, 201312 yr Well Ansem was able to be summoned by YMX, but also as a heartless he remained in human form and also he possessed a human body as that form as well making him an all around special case to begin with. February 1, 201312 yr Ansem was present at the time Sora and Riku dived into the worlds submerged in sleep. Thus, he, Xemnas, and young Xehanort were able to enter the dreaming worlds.

...How did Ansem get in them? He's a Heartless, after all.
