I don't want any new worlds for KH3. I want to revisit worlds we already know, and revisit some familiar faces.

 

There's a few reasons for this. One, I think its time the series works with the plots and characters it already has, rather than constantly introducing a new stream of settings and characters. There is a ton of material to already there, and putting more on top of it is unnecessary.

 

Second, if this is going to be the emotional apex, it would be good for Sora to go and see the lives of all the people he's met and go to all the worlds he's made a difference in. I feel that since KH2, his relationships with the Disney (and Final Fantasy) characters have been neglected. He makes friends, sure, but I think we can develop that a bit more. Now that the climax is forthcoming, it would be good to get all, or as many, of the familiar faces in as you can and explore their characters a bit more. Not to mention I still want Riku to have to go back to some of the worlds he meddled in and actually have to own up for his actions.

 

Third, one assumes that the Princesses will come back as a necessary plot point, and it would be a good idea to spend a lot of time delving into their situation rather than going over them briefly.

I think a good compromise is for Sora to go to the worlds from BBS. They're old to us, but new to him. What was the point of having Deep Space take place only on the ship if they weren't going to eventually let us go to the islands in a future KH game? If not, this would just be a wasted opportunity.

That's actually a really good idea: if a world that Sora (and the audience) is emotionally attached to is suddenly in grave danger, it will resonate much better and create more tension as we see events unfold. Heck, I remember the first time I was playing KH2, and the Heartless were running off with the Book of Pooh. While I knew that nothing too terrible could happen, there was a split second of horror as I contemplated the innocence of the 100 Acre Wood being corrupted, and that sense of panic drew me in further. That's the kind of experience which could happen more often if it was characters and worlds we knew and loved that were at stake.

Good point but this is Blu-Ray we're talking about. 25-50 gigabytes. They could fit pretty much as many worlds as they want...So them not adding new worlds would be pretty odd. Plus, waiting 10+ freaking years for KH 3, and it has no new content? Uh, no. There would also be an undeniably huge amount of people complaining on the internet about that. I want Toy Story.

Seeing as Xehanort plans to destroy the Princesses of Heart, Sora and co. WILL have to revisit those worlds in order to protect them. Not only that, they'll have to go to Castle Oblivion to get Ven and the Realm of Darkness to find Aqua.

 

The PoH could be gathered in one place (Radiant Garden?) in order to protect them.

And if they have Aqua with them, I guess, then CO will be just one single room, because of its strange magic.

Yes but they could also very easily add brand new worlds on top of that, which is what they will be doing anyways. I would absolutely hate it if they didn't. It'd be like wtf, this is KH THREE...Give us something new and amazing.

i kind of agree it wold be cool .... but i think it wold be cooler if they put some of the world that we were suppose to see like in kh 1 we could sommon simba and then in kh 2 we goo and see him in his world .... so what happened we still need to see lilo and sitch the bbs dose not count its the past ou and what about chicken little !!

Actually, I retract my post before.  If we're reaching the end of the saga then new worlds might not be a good idea.  Endings are supposed to conclude everything, so they should work with what's already been established and save the cool new stuff for the next saga.  Maybe a new world or two would be cool as long as they make it work within the story, but the majority should be some familiar faces so we they can wrap things up.
