Do you know anyone in your school whose a catgirl? I do and she drives me crazy when she mentions cats! I learned that she owns seven of them (how ironic seven, where have we seen this number applied before?). Do you know any?

That's what I was thinking.

I have a friend who is a cat girl, but she's studying to be a vet tech so it's not that surprising.

Anime catpeople in this case do not count. The thing about this catgirl I know is she writes stories of cats, watches cat videos, cries for stray cats, mostly talks about cats, lives, breathes, and dies cats! It drives me nuts!
