Better video games (That depend) 6. More mature people 7. Better behavior I just miss the old times Now this is just bullshit. Don't mean to sound rude but 1) I communicate with my friends equally through the internet and IRL 2) Mass school shootings began in the 90's. And we were fighting the Gulf War, AIDS truly became a crisis, there were mass genocides throughout third world countries, and a bunch of terrorist attacks. Oh, yeah, TOTALLY peaceful. 3) No, people have always been the same. People have been jerks dating all the way back to cavemen--people didn't suddenly at the end of 1999 say, GUYS LET'S ALL BE ASSHOLES NOW. 4) Your opinion I guess. I happen to prefer modern music. You can't really argue this point because it's simply an opinion. 5) Video games now have better plots and graphics. (and that's actually a fact--quality has improved substantially. Imagine FF13 coming out in 1990. Possible? No.) 6) Again, no. 7) Aaaaand no. Again, bullying was such a crisis in the 90's (though not as advertised) that school shootings started. Doesn't sound like people were exactly on their best behavior. Not to shoot you down, but I really don't think you should go running around talking about something you don't understand. I was born in August of 97, but I don't miss the 90's. Why? Because like you, I DON'T REMEMBER THEM SO I CAN'T JUDGE THEM AS BETTER OR WORSE.
February 11, 201312 yr Life back then was more simple, mostly for the fact that we were kids and we didn't know of the troubles of the world, but now we are more knowledgeable about these kinds of things. Sure, the world is messed up and people disrespect each other, but it's people like us that can make the difference.
February 11, 201312 yr I agree with better music, seems like what's mainstream is usually poppy crap or rap songs that cuss like no other. Aside from people who play actual instruments. Video Games weren't necessarily better, games nowadays can be just as fun. It's a shame to see so many generic shooters or RPG's though.
