They wouldn't wake up cuz when they eat their food, Mansex made sure he had spread some sleeping powder (lol wut maybe Mansex has a Butterfree ) on the food. He probably used permanent marker to draw those green marks below Axel's eyes (You may never know...C8<) or maybe he striped Luxord to get his revenge because he lost the game.
