There. Differences aside, just get along.

 

Christians, in the bible, It says treat others the way you wish to be treated. I've been noticing you aren't doing that. Don't force others to join your side if you don't want to be forced back. Got it?

 

Atheists, let people believe what they want to believe. If they want to believe in God, let them.

 

I have friends from both sides, and some (not most) of you are acting like complete idiots. No, I'm not sorry I said that. You are acting like idiots. Simple as that. Get off your high pedestal, and join the rest of humanity. Both of you.

 

Myself, I'm Judaic Christian, and I see the corruptions from both sides that neither choose to confront, rather, avoid. Face the facts. You're all acting stupid, and you should get over yourselves.

 

Does being Christian make you feel better about yourself? Is that why you choose to shove it down peoples throats? So you can feel better about yourself? Christianity isn't about Self-Image.

 

Does being Atheist give you the right to take peoples beliefs and throw them away? Does it give you the right to shove your "Oh, God does exist, you idiot!" in their face? No. If you're Atheist, good for you. Don't force others to throw away what they believe.

 

I hope you learn something now before it comes to bite you in the ass later.

This is why I'm Agnostic, who knows if there is a God or not. No one alive knows what happens after you die, it's all just surrounded in theories and myths. Were not sure if it's true or not, which is why we BELIEVE something is true or not. Hence it's a belief, not fact. Not all Christians are like what you describe, many of them are great. Of course not every Christian (like in every religion in the world) is going to be 100% on the bible. They have vague beliefs but follow almost 60 - 70% of what the bible says. It's really not a surprise people act like this and people are always going to act like this because they believe their belief is "superior" or "right". It's how the human mind processes when they believe in something. There are some who function differently but a majority function like what I just described.

I intentionally chose one that doesn't exist. Trying to avoid conflict by using an example that doesn't actually exist.And, no. That's not how biology works, first you can't be 'immune' to scurvy any more than you can be 'immune' to hunger or dehydration. You need vitamin C to survive, scurvy is a vitamin C deficiency, not a disease vitamin C treats.

Well sadly not all Christians act like Christians. But it's a Christians job to spread the gospel (but not force). I'd just wouldn't try it on the internet unless in a conversation with someone, and probably not unless they brought it up.  And I wouldn't just spring randomly on someone I've never met and rant on them. I haven't seen many people online try to force anything on anybody, but I try to stay away from all that. I don't like the religion wars >_<

I think the main problem is just the fact of clashing beliefs. People don't like to hear their beliefs disregarded.

also yes they do have the same god!! they just worship god differently and have different practices and beliefs as to who the messiah is. but in the end, its the same god! yaweh is god in hebrew, and allah is the arabic word for god. so yes, they have the same god, just different sames and practices. but the basics of all three are very similar.

atheism is not a set of beliefs or anything! therefore it isnt about ANYTHING. atheism is simply not believing in god, which is STRICTLY not believing in a deity. i said DONT STRICTLY. as well, like i said, atheists dont have a set of beliefs or ANYTHING therefore they can still fall into the crowd and not have a sense of individuality and arent encouraged to do so, unlike lavey satanists. 

satanism is NOT the worship of satanism unless youre talking about theistic satanism

in fact, luciferism is correct name for the religion that worship satan!

This is what this thread is about, sir. Being an extremist in any case is not good. Which is why I say some people need to get over themselves about their religion. If they have a religion, good for them. If they don't, good for them too. They just need to get off their throne of gold and realize how stupid they are acting towards people on the opposing team.
