Welcome to The City, the worst place to live. Besides the tyrannical government, there are various supervillains that wreck homes and businesses, with various means of getting their powers. The police can do nothing against these alien, supernatural, mutant, and technological villains. Until the heroes showed up. These heroes share many powers with the villains, but use them to stop villains. But who will win this impromptu war over The City?

 

Summary: The City is home to superheroes and supervillains, who gain their powers through any means you can imagine. They are now fighting over The City, and we'll see who wins in the rp. This will be the first arc in The City.

Name: David Remington aka Reaper

Gender: Male

 

Appearance: Medium size and build with tanned skin. Short dark brown hair with trimmed beard. Blue eyes that turn red when he is using different vision types. He wears a leather long coat over cargo pants, combat boots, a commando sweater and a combat harness.

 

Personality:Determined, calculating, calm, kind and sarcastic.

 

Power: Cyborg. Implants give him enhanced strength, agility and durability. Implants in his brain increase thought speed and reaction time as well as give him access to a database of info and Internet connection. Self repair units with Nantes give him a healing factor. Eyes upgraded with different vision types, like inferred, night vision and so on.

 

Bio: A former marine and spy, David was severally injuried while helping a friend In the intelligence field. His friend had him saved by a genius inventor they had extracted. Now a cyborg, David has gone into the private sector. Finding the city, he decides to start there, first ridding it of most of it's corruption then expanding his business.

Appearance: Tall and lean. He has messy brown hair with two tufts of hair that stick back reminiscent of an owl's ear tufts. Wears relatively tight-fitting clothes along with a brown cloak with a large collar which he can use to cover most of face. He also has yellow eyes.

 

Personality: Quiet. But behind that menacing yellow stare is a protector

 

Power: Sikota has exceptional sight. He eyes can not only pierce the blackest darkness, but even through certain solid objects. He hears almost everything in the radius of about half of a kilometer. He holds great strength and speed but can remain completely silent when moving. His cloak hides a pair of large brown wings that also move in total silence.

 

Bio: After shaming himself, both physically, and emotionally, he abandoned his home town, and his closest of friends. He took to the skies and found a place full of chaos. A place where he could restore his honor by fighting for others. Then... maybe then... might he be able to return.

Appearance: a girl around 5'5" tall. Has shoulder length jet black hair with fainted red tips at the end. has olive skin and wears a white muffler, a red long sleeve shirt with small white flames on the rims, black pants and black boots

Personality: at times can be stubborn, determined and a quick thinker

Power: create and manipulate fire

Bio: Yui was always somewhat of a pyro and loved the sight of fire and she soon got the ability to create and control it at will. She travels a lot since she lost her home back then but when she came across the city, she decides to settle there for a while and hope to rid the place of the chaos

Appearance: Skyde (The name he goes by) wears a lengthy black coat over a buttoned up red shirt and jeans. He wears crimson fingerless gloves on both ihs hands

Personality: Skyde is a to-the-point kind of person person. His pragmatism is only eclipsed by his superiority complex, though. So many people within the City have powers like Skyde's, but he find most of their purposes juvenile and overly romantic. He beleives that powers aren't to be trifled with and think an idiot of anyone who uses them for purposes he find stupid. There is some compassion in part of his personality, but he rarely shows it.

 

Power: Skyde's brain can process information at a rate slightly faster than normal, essentially allowing him an extra degree of reflex that no other human has. Combined with his fitness and his twin grappling hooks, Skyde is a formidable fighter, using his speed and reflexes to out-pace opponents. In more common situations Skyde's power grants him more of a chance to create complex improvised plans.

Bio: Skyde grew up with only one family member- his twin brother Ryan. The two were left in an orphanage at a young age, and after some time they escaped together, neither willing to be under the control of another person. They relied on each other thrived together. Both were born with superhuman cognitive powers; Skyde with faster processing and his brother with more complex processing. Together his brother was the planner and he was the improviser. That worked well... until Skyde was 24, and his brother was killed by a band of super-powered mercenaries the brothers were working with. Skyde, with his increased reflexes, escaped, but with his brother dead his entire perspective on the world, and The City, changed. It's not known what Skyde seeks now, perhaps he doesn't even know.

Appearance: Short green hair, one green eye, one blue eye. Wears a very dark green coat over a brown shirt. He was a birth mark on the back of his left hand that looks like butterfly wings

 

Power: Can morph parts of his body into mutated forms of various insects, such as a scythe arm like that of a praying mantis to a huge needle like a hornet's stinger. He can even grow wings to fly of morph his legs like a grasshoppers. He doesnt know how to produce any sort of poison

 

Personality: Arrogant, greedy, likes to fight. He commits crimes just to entertain himself

 

Bio: Maxwell has always been a theif, stealing from evryone and anyone. Then came the day he stole from the wrong person and stole a scientists unstable experiment that was meant to advance an insect's evoloution. He gained the power of the insect world and used it to not steal, but take whatever he wanted. He earned the nickname Mantis because of his tendancy to morph his arms in sickle bladed praying mantis arms

Appearance: gangly, short, a slight frame, but surprisingly strong, messy brown hair. Wears a tattered orange shirt and brown cargo shorts. He has a small scrap-pack on his belt, along with his trusty wrench.

 

Personality: easygoing, not very serious, creative, likes to fight, intellectual

 

Power: Technomancy. Neisan has a magical ability which lets him build and power machines using magic. Neisan has built an armor suit with magic cannons, flight, shields, and many other functions. He has extra-dimensionally stored this in his wrench. Neisan can also build many different things using the infinity scrap material generated by his pack.

 

Bio: Neisan grew up in the slums of the city. The slums can bring out either the worst or best temperaments, and thankfully, the best has manifested itself in Neisan. Neisan's mother was the neighborhood mechanic. She would always be building and fixing stuff for the neighbors with whatever happened to be lying around. That was where Neisan learned his mechanical aptitude. Over the course of his childhood, Neisan's magical powers began manifesting themselves. This turned him into a social outcast, despite his good-naturedness. Then Neisan's mother was murdered by one of the super villains that go around. Neisan learned to fend for himself after her death, practicing his ability and filling in his mother's role. He was also filled with a burning desire to rid the city of the super villains who murdered his mom. This led him to take up the mantle of community protector.

Appearance: long blond hair, a nervous tik in his left eye, walks with a slight limp, very pointy nose, untrimmed fingernails. Wears a blue hoodie, a flat-brimmed baseball hat, and khaki pants.

 

Personality: slightly insane, likes to take risks, paranoid, unpredictable, clever, sadistic

 

Power: Object Possession. Mattew can enter inanimate objects and take control of them. He can thus turn them into twisted monsters which will wreak havoc. Once he has manipulated an object, he can then transfer himself to a different object. He can do this as fast as thought. Any object he has manipulated will stay that way (i.e. monsters will stay monsters even after he is no longer in them. They will still do what he tells them, too). He can even enter whole buildings and turn them into engines of mass destruction, but he usually prefers to work covertly with smaller objects.

 

Bio: Mattew grew up in a normal middle class family. Unfortunately, he fell into the wrong group in high school. They warped his good upbringing into an underachieving bad-boy. This eventually turned into sadism and mild insanity that has followed him around ever since. This wasn't helped by his power to enter and warp objects. It only fueled the process. Now, Mattew wanders the back alleyways of the city, doing whatever his scattered brain decides. The authorities haven't round him because he always enters the nearest object whenever they come around. As such, he is high on the city's wanted list.

Name: Violet Swales

 

Age: 16

 

Gender: Female

 

Appearance: Long, dark violet hair, shocking blue eyes. Wears a dark purple hoodie with white sleeves over a white shirt, jeans and dark purple converse. She has a tatto on the back of her right hand, an outline of butterfly wings

 

Personality: A bit shy, but courageous, very creative and artistic. Violet is the most loyal friend someone can have

 

Power: Violet can gain power through colors. She touches an object and gains an appriopriate power based on that objects color-

 

-Red: Super strength

-Blue: Invisibility/Intangibilty

-Green: Regeneration (can heal hers or others injuries)

-Yellow: Super speed

-Orange: Adhesion (she can walk on walls and ceilings, can attach herself or other thing to objects)

-Purple: Increased acrobatic abilities (she can preform impossible feats of dexterity)

-White: cancels out current power

 

She can only use this power is the color is present in an object, neutral colors like grey and black wont have any effect and she cannot use more than one power at once, each one lasts around 10 minutes. She carries paints with her to splash them somewhere and better use her power

 

Bio: Violet used to be Maxwell's friend before he fell into crime. When she discovered her powers, she decided to put them to use by fighting crime. Even now, she's so loyal to her former friend, she believes she can help him and get him back. Her tatto was inspired by his birth mark, and used to be a symbol of their friendship.

• This includes transporting short distances through his own shadow and Transporting long distances through bigger shadows.

Bio:  Jake has no idea how he came across this power he just knows he has it.   His last day of high school he ended up getting in a fight and once that fight happened something got weird.  He hit his opponent and his opponent fell into the shadow of an alley and disappeared.  Jake then ran into the shadow and he popped out on a rood under the shadow of a huge airline.   That's how he discovered his powers but he wants to find out where they came from.

Personality: Level headed, pessimistic, clever, and has a strong desire to do the right thing.

Power: Able to shoot blasts of light energy from his hands; he can also create an orb of light, allowing him to light up the darkness.

Bio: He wakes up in the city, but can't remember anything but his first name, Paul.

Personality: Friendly and energetic; he doesn't really take the effort to befriend anyone but will make sure to be noticed then vanish as if it was an illusion. Once (and if) you ever become friends with Dawn, he will nearly give his life to protect you. 

Power: Bubble Gum (Dawn can stretch like chewed up gum and can use bubbles for what ever he can think of)

Bio: Dawn was always a little odd but one day his family were on a drive to his grandma's place when their was an explosion of some sort near their location. The cause of the explosion is still uncertain but it is the reason he found his abilities. The explosion caused them to get in a wreck, when Dawn woke up he was outside of The City and hand no where else to go. His parents are still missing but Dawn continues to just 'hang' around. (Added Information: Dawn chews gum all the time; including the moment of the accident.)

Bio: Sylar recently went through an identity crisis himself when he discovered his powers. In the end, he decided he wished to gain all the power he can. He has gone on a hunting spree, killing many heroes and villains across the world. He is now in the City, seeking more powers to bring under his control.

Bio: Son of an italian Mafia lord, Alexander was trained from the moment he could walk for leadership and strength. Alexander loved every second. He went as an asset on many "jobs", and proved himself many times over. When his father got his hands on a super-soldier serum, he injected his son. Now able to do the work of many regular men, Alexander has proved a wonderful asset. He has now been sent to The City to scope out the area for future business.
