Seriosuly Hp shoulda been made by Diseny! not just to have it in KH but because it has all the magic and all the elements the Dsieny is known for. AND, not only that but Dsiney would acutally put ALL the deleted scenes that they filmed for the movies instead of random Trelwany eating her food on the Ootp dvd - most pointless and random deleted scene ever put on 

 

Say waht u will about disney but unlike dumb WB, they NO how to make money! No wonder they r the richest film compnay in the world, they have all the things that make up the best in entertainment. The only reason Warner boguht HP was cuz David Heyman the Potter producer hada friend at WB who he knew. 

 

Another reason is to have everything LOOk the same! if u watch all back to back they don't feel connected that much at all. espeically Cos to Poa, i still don't feel like they r the same film series. I love hp but still feel like it was a let down an easily missed oppertunity. I would almost rather have an animated Harry movie than a clunky disjointed film series, i mean its not all bad but it still feels like something that they could EASILY have done to maintain continiity. David heyman says over and over again how each book is like one big story, YET they seem to wanna focus on each book atta time, which while keeping the films unique and fresh, also makes them feel like they don't connect that well at all! Look at KH, sure there r some ocninituy errors, BUT they are able to make each game unique and special and they r all made by the same guy. X-men is another series where continuity is firetrucked up.(excuse my language please) No matter how bad the DTV sequels were at least they all felt connected in looking the same. and yes i do contradict myself in rather wanting hp as is than DTV (all of which ain't that bad btw) but still, it makes me sad that of all these fantasy book adaptations Disney doesn't have one, and they DID have Narnia, but sold it and got superheroes instead (which actually turned out better than i thought it would)

Harry Potter is great as is. It honestly doesn't need Disney to have made it.

Why change it? WB did an EXCELLENT job on the movies. Matched the book quiet nicely, yet book and movies are different. Especially such a detailed book as Harry Potter, thanks to the wonderful writer J.K Rowling. I have read all the books and watched all the movies, and I do see differences. But, it doesn't effect me so much because I understand the challenge with directors. They did have a different director for PoA. That is why it looks different from Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets (Chris Columbus). Plus, Prisoner of Azkaban was starting to have that darker turn because Harry is just starting to learn about Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew. Though, Sirirus was accused of sending Voldemort after Harrys mom and dad. It probably would be different if Disney made it. Because there is violence in the movie, and even though Disney did Pirates of the Caribbean. The first book/movie was mainly the magic. The magic is still there through out the book/movie but it now faces the story of Harry and Voldemort. The Boy Who Lived. (Come to die... ) It is better to stay were it is for now. We don't want any more re-makes to surface (as I heard they might do with Twilight, with all new people and new directors. Then again this is a rumor..) So all in all. Point is well made.

To be exact, J.K. Rowling made Harry Potter. Warner Bros. just bought the rights to the series and did a crapload of stuff with the license, such as the awesome movies.

umm, there r tons of deleted scenes that they have shot, they didn't even give us at all! And if uve seen the trailers/books of behind the scenes stuff u will no that there is a lot of stuff that they did film which makes me wonder how people such as who played young Lily musta felt for she cannot even have a dvd/blu ray for there to watch her scene. I feel sooo ripped off! I do agree the films were good for what they were but at the same time they fee llike a let down. No strong connection between them, each movie focused differently etc. pointless thigns such as Malfoy keep on checking room of requirement cabinent, soooo much talent wasted. If all of the films were like the first two (as in LOOKING the same i no there has to be different feels to them but at least make it look the same not make everything look magically different, pun intended)

 

Hp would make an excellent contribution to KH. it would be awesome!

Some things just don't translate well into film, plus, time constraints.
