So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Neisan fired his blasters at the drones. "It's will get me some good scrap. Maybe even flight components!" Neisan shot down one of the drones. "A little help here, guys?"

 

"Will do, Kilek!" Neisan began firing at the other drones to hold them off. "When your finished with that, see if you can tear a hole in one of these walls!"

"Idiot!" Sikota spat. "Whoever set these conditions must hate me. I'm freezing without a shirt, I've been pit against machinery, and my maneuverability is getting smaller by the second!" He sidestepped a blast from one of the drones, jumped up and redirected its fire at the wall, he then threw it at another drone, they both exploded on impact. Two drones shot at him, the blasts barely scratched him above and under his eye bit to hurt pretty bad.

Neisan shot down the last drone. "Now we need to deal with the walls! Is Kilek finished with that drone yet? 'Cause if he isn't, I'm gonna laser these walls!"

Kilek was still riding a top the drone when he saw that all the others had been shot down. Kilek faced another problem, getting down. The drone wasnt gonna slow to a stop and just let him off, so his only option was to jump.

 

The drone was flying head long towards a wall, Kilek flinched at the thought of his impact into it, and jumped after the slightest hesitation, landing in front of Neisan. "By the way..." Kilek said to him, " how was I supposed to make the hole in the wall? I'm part shark, not part drill, theres nothing for me to bite"

The ozone around Fulmen rose, the smell of electricity rising as he focused and prepared an electrical charge. With the blast of light, he forced a massive charge of voltage from his fingertips, into the battery of the jeeps.

"Hah!" Fulmen cried happily, watching the jeep roar to life as the battery was brought to life once more (albiet smoke rose from his blackened fingertips). "Nice, got it working."

Yumi nodded."Kay,Fulmen you coming?" She called out to him.

"'Cos I want to get a move on." She told him.

"Get the next test on the road if that's how it works." She looked to the road.

Fulmen nodded, wiping the black soot off of his hands. "Alright, I'll come." Fulmen said, walking up to stand only a few feet away from Yumi.

He looked back to the now-running jeep, smiling a bit. Fulmen was glad to be of use, and even happier that he was managing to control his powers somewhat- he secretly feared that he might've blown the jeep up on accident.

"Oh. Hadn't thought of that. In that case, both of you duck down. I'm gonna fire this baby off!" The mega laser was still over Neisan's shoulder, fully charged and humming with power. "But first, Sikota, get rid of that last drone."

Yumi grined."Well were off~" She said and started off on the road. 

"So Fully~ You kind of like my opposite and you know what say." She nodded.

She yawned."Still tired so don't mind me!" She told him.

"Travel foward Karu!" Rasiel commanded, still on his shoulders.

Karu smiled a bit, walking foward. He approached Robert and someone else who was overobsessing about paper and pencil and Xander.

"Who are you two. I already know Robert..." Rasiel asked, resting her arms atop Karu's head.

Oh... It worked!!! - I was proud for a second... after alll.. i did it with 4 minutes- tools, thanks to fulmen´s "energy supply" (sarcastic tone) anyway.... suddenly someone asked for my name and the other one... we were thoghether on this.. so at least I needed to introduce myself...

 

My name is Locke... Locke Stern. By the way... amm... what are you named??? 

A little awkward question considering tahtwe were together for at least the droid battle.... and then i was focused with fixing the vehicle... so... 

"Thank You, Electro!!" He called out to Fulmen as he walked off with Yumi

"And thank you too, Locke." (Were we ever formally introduced?? I can't remember)

 

As Fulmen was leaving someone came over to Xander and Locke asking about their names

 

"Hey, I'm Xander. You can call me X if you wish." He said with a grin

 

Even though he knew using "X" as a nickname was cliche, he enjoyed using it. It made him feel "cool"

Rasiel sighed, transforming into her rabbit form and sliding off of Karu. She stood on the ground, she was just about five inches taller then Karu's ankle in this form.

"Confused and Freaked out Locke? That is sad...and mean..." Karu stated.

"Karu is right! You are mean...why aren't you nice to Rasiel-chan...?" Rasiel said, changing out of her rabbit form and back into human form, hiding behind Karu.

The childish loli side of Rasiel who was always shy and upset was finally showing its true colours.

"Sorry about Rasiel...I am Karu Kasaragi and Rasiel Kasaragi is my sister." he explained.

Rasiel smiled darkly behind Karu, turning to 'X'.

"Rasiel..." she whispered.

Wow...the creepier side of Rasiel you don't see that every day. Karu wad being to much of the dunce he is, and didn't even notice Xander had intoduced himself.

Did she just call me 'Fully'? Fulmen thought, one of his eyebrows arcing in his confusion.

"Um...opposites...attract?" Fulmen asked, his mind still confused about this whole matter, but he shook it off. "I mean, I guess...you use water, I use electricity." Fulmen said, nodding once. "but uh, if you're tired, we can always wait until you're ready before heading off..."

-WOOOOOOOOOOAH!!

I was freaked out for a moment. Karu and  Rasiel...

-How did she...?

Well i used a pencil for making things real, Xander could move heavy things and Fulmen used electricity to attack....... if that was possible, becoming an animal for a moment was possible too.... of course it was still a shock... 

- Emmm... Emmm.. sorry about that.... nice to meet you... 

"No problem!" Sikota said, wiping blood from his eye, he leaped and after several rotations, kicked the robot down to the ground. Hard. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna stay close to that laser cuz I am cold."

"Well...Do think I can sleep on the Ground,but yes opposites do attract."Yumi then smirked.

"Do you know what I mean?" She asked.

"It means I like you you,Fully~" She smiled.

"That isn't her only power. She can turn into a demonic form of herself. I have empathy and technological control." Karu explain.

Rasiel appeared to be done with her fit and spun around.

"It's okay Locke! Would you like to see my demon form?" she asked, not wanting an answer she turned into her demon form with the platinum blonde hair, a red bow atop her head, a maroon speggetti-stap dress and red slip on shoes with two small black wings her eyes were slightly a darker pink...almost a dark red.

"My final form. Usually used during battle." she said.

"That rabbit you saw was a stuffed animal. It was fake. I can only transform into inadinate slash unliving objects." Rasiel explained, turning back into her human form.

Mr. Neisan. He believes I would be so absent minded as to not predict his creation of a sort of laser, and apply reinforcements to the walls. Hmp. He will see in due time. It's true, his skills are impressive, but he can't be allowed to escape from the test. Not before its final segment.

 

With the destruction of the last drone, suddenly the walls stopped moving for a moment. The cold did not let up though. It was if Xi had allowed for the group to anticipate Neisan's laser blast.

Ren took a step beside Tsuna, his eyes unmoving from the door.  Lots of thuds, shouts, and explosions could be heard from the other side, causing Ren to raise a skeptical brow.  "I really don't know what's going to happen to them," he admitted. "But I do hope they survive; our strength seems to rely in numbers."

 

It seemed that there was nothing for two of them to do but wait.  Wait to die or live, Ren didn't know.  He wished that door would open soon so that he could inspect the damage and move onward.

 

At the back of Ren's mind, he began to recall the buttons he'd pushed.  All of them seemed easy enough, until he remembered Sikota without a shirt.  Oh, he's going to just love me for that, he thought bitterly.

Fulmen blinked, his mind not clicking until a few moments later.

"I..what?" He said, his head tilting in a confused fashion, not sure if his brain really registered what Yumi had said. "You...like me?" Fulmen said, his brain near exploding at the mere thought- unsure of whether or not she was joking.

I'm so confused! He cried within his mind.

"I do,I thought that was clear." Yumi said a bit put off.

"Anyway I see something off a ways..." She had no idea what it was,just that something.

She strained her eyes to see but no luck. She was just not going to see it unless she got closer. What was off in the distance was....

What was off in the distance was....

 

A temple? The road cut off when the jungle temporarily cut off. In the center of the resulting clearing was a huge temple. It seemed to be made of a sort of sand-stone. It was hard to see from this distance. It was huge and rectangular, and fully closed in. It was not open in the slightest, and what lay within was completely up to the imagination... at least at this point. Huge carvings adorned the edges of the temple, and a grand entrance sat in the enter before them. Moss and vines covered the temple... it looked ancient.

"S-sorry, it just...caught me off guard. That's all." Fulmen said, rubbing his face a little. When Yumi had said that, his face had flushed greatly, both from sudden embarrassment, and confusion. Now, it was less of confusion.

Fulmen looked in the direction Yumi did, blinking a couple times. "Is that...a ruin?" He said aloud, looking to Yumi.

Now that Yumi had got closer she could see he was right. "It's like land of the lost." She said and sighed.

"We need to go inside,but it has test written all over it." She said.

"We should go back and get the others." She said.
