So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Crow's uppercut caught Xander off guard to say the least

It connected with his face and sent him flying

The smell of his own blood was in his nostrils as he looked up midair to see Rasiel falling

 

He pulled together his strength and his mind and reached his arm out towards Rasiel

 

[Rasiel..]

 

He began to slow her descent

But he was cut short when his body hit a tree

 

"Ugh!!"

 

His body slid down a little ways bumping into branches until his stomach landed on a large branch and instantly broke his fall

 

He lay hanging on the large branch

 

His eyes slowly closed as consciousness left his mind

Crow appeared in front of a retreating Karu and hit him in the side of the head. "I'm sorry but you can't leave." He turned back toward Yumi. "Aah, now where were we." He said walking in her direction.

(Just so you know, Sikota, Isaac won't be appearing in the jungle/temple area.)

 

The warehouse continued to violently contort inward. Suddenly one of the corners of the roof fully began to cave in its broken ruins landed with a blast, but left no opening either, the rest of the walls continued to buckle quickly inward. In a few moments the walls would break open or the warehouse would cave in on itself entirely. Which one was it going to be?

 

"Tick tock"

"Tsk..." Karu snapped, holding his head, about to attack Crow before he was stopped by Rasiel falling.

"Shit..." he snapped, dashing over and catching her EXACTLY at the right moment.

"Thanks Idiot. Now didn't I tell you to run?" she sighed, standing up.

Karu smiled, "Sorry Rasiel".

He then ran off, with a single sword in his hand to fight Crow.

Yumi got up an' dusted herself off. "You think your so funny Crow,but you touched Fully. Now I won't forgive you." She backed away to the path.

"Well if you want me, follow me~" She told him.

She turned to see if she could spot the lake. "Fully I can keep safe on my own!" She told him.

Crow gave a small chuckle. He appeared beside Yumi. "What I want..." he grabbed her and took flight. They reached the lake in seconds. "Is a challenge!" He threw her towards to water.

Ren backed into the center of the room alongside the pedestal, Tsuna, and a fallen Kilek.

 

"That's definitely the best idea I've heard so far, Neisan," Ren commented.  "Any suggestions how we might go about it?"  His eyes meticulously studied the vacant warehouse.  The balls were putting quite a dent into the warehouse; he knew they didn't have much longer.  One thing he'd noticed, however, was that the corners of the room were relatively untouched, while the remaining section of the walls were bowed in dramatically.  They would give in first.  Yet, Ren could see how this could play to their advantage.

 

"Guys, I've got an idea."  Ren pointed at the upper right-hand corner of the warehouse nearest him.  "If someone can blast a hole in one of these weakened corners, I can use my wind to carry us to safety."

Yumi landed in the water. She stood a top in like a God. "Water.." She whispered. 

"Water is my first love,I think you have just killed yourself. This here is my throne." She dipped a hand in the water and pulled it out.

When she pulled it out see had a lance made of water. Next she froze it. "Ice...is just frozen water." She said.

Crow gave a twisted smile. "... Perfect." He dove toward Yumi, wings tucked in, he was a streaking, black arrow.

"I'm not going to sit by, not right now." Fulmen muttered, slowly making his way to the lake.

Sorry, Yumi...but this guy has crossed a line. Fulmen thought, the ozone about him increasing still. He limped as he went, his face dripping with sweat and forced his drained body to make the last few steps.

There's a reason people are warned never to let electronics touch water.

Yumi laughed. "Nice try boy. Your just a puppet!." She snapped her fingers and a ice pillar rose her up.

"Heh,your flying to fast. Can you stop~" She teased.

She tossed the weapon to her other hand."Or will you run into a shape death." She laughed.

Crow crashed head first into the pillar. "N-Nice one..." After a slight delay he fell back and remaining in the position in which he collapsed plumed into the lake with a size able splash.

Fulmen reached the end of the lake. His face was streaked with determination as he watched Crow collapse into the the lake's water.

"Yumi!" Fulmen shouted, "I have an idea!" He yelled, clapping his hands together to creating a loud, booming sound similar to that of lightning. "I just need to hit the lake with the strongest amount of voltage I can manage. But you might need to get out of the lake. I'm not too sure how 300 kAmps will affect you in your own territory..."

Rasiel flew beside Karu as he made his way over to observe the Lake. "Do you think he will drown?" She asked, gripping onto her sword.

"I have to go hale Xavier..." She said seriously.

Yumi nodded and jumpped down next to him. "Go for it Fully." She told him.

"Also." She kissed his nose."That's for helping me."

She smiled. "Have fun." She said.

Robert watched as Hazimie destroyed the androids one by one with little effort. He then saw the last remaining android, the leader, and decided that he wanted to be the one to take it out. As he ran at the thing, it fired a missile directly at Robert. He became intangible so that the missle went straight through him, put his hand in the center of the bot's chest, and became solid again. The android began to short out, so Robert became intangible again just before it exploded.

 

Unfortunently, the missile that was meant for Robert hit the entrance, causing it to cave in.

 

"Sorry guys," Robert said as he looked at the hallway, "it lookes like there's only one way left to go."

Robert watched as Hazimie destroyed the androids one by one with little effort. He then saw the last remaining android, the leader, and decided that he wanted to be the one to take it out. As he ran at the thing, it fired a missile directly at Robert. He became intangible so that the missle went straight through him, put his hand in the center of the bot's chest, and became solid again. The android began to short out, so Robert became intangible again just before it exploded.Unfortunently, the missile that was meant for Robert hit the entrance, causing it to cave in."Sorry guys," Robert said as he looked at the hallway, "it lookes like there's only one way left to go."

Tsuna looked in the direction that Ren was pointing at and said "I think i could give it a shot." She stuck her palm out in the direction of the right hand corner of the warehouse and shot a stream of fire, like a small comet, and it easily went through the corner, leaving a gaping hole big enough for them to fit through. "I hope that's good enough." She said to Ren. "We need to hurry before we get crushed under here."

"Think you can whip up a wind strong enough to carry us, Ren? My suit weighs a lot, you know." Neisan fired several shots at a particularly saggy portion of wall, and it collapsed into rubble and twisted metal. "That would have fallen on us if I hadn't destroyed it first. We need to do this now if we're going to do it."

Fulmen smiled, nodding to Yumi. "Right."

With that, he slammed one fist into the lake, the fist streaking with bolts as it careened into the water; the resulting splash creating a deafening screech. The water exploded upwards, the amount of power streaking throughout the lake. The amount would've easily killed a mere human. But of course, everyone on the island had exceeded the capabilities any human could have.

"I...I hope that worked." Fulmen muttered, his vision blanking out.
