So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

"Yeah,i can....a little..."Hazimie said as he begin to stand up but feeling weak."Robert.....please stand back.....i don't know if i have much power left.....but i'll try...."Hazimie said as he use his power and create a pillar surrounding him."Cure Melodia..."Hazimie said as he cast Cure Melodia to heal himself by using the pillars.Then,Hazimie has become better a little but still weak in standing and walking...

Sylar nodded approvingly. "That's perfect actually. Thank you Xi." He said, rubbing his palms together. Sylar walked over to the dead body. He raised his fingers, and drew his fingers across his victim's skull.

≈A Few Minutes and A Lot Of Gore Later≈

"Hahaha!" Sylar's evil laugh echoed through the small chamber. His hands were covered in blood, and the top of Sikota's skull was on the ground a few yards away. The serial killer's maniacal grin was fueled by the joy of killing. Large wings, black as midnight, extruded from Sylar's back. Still laughing, he flapped a few yards into the air.

"I feel stronger. Faster. Better. And I have freaking wings!" Sylar grinned from joy and excitement. "No Xi, they will definitely not expect this. So whom do I get to kill first in your experiment? Joshua? Karu?" He spoke giddily, excited from the aspect of using his brand new powers.

Rasiel jumped on Xander's head

 

"Hey, Rasiel" He said smiling, petting her a bit "Who's Joshua??" He asked looking at Yumi

 

He felt a slight jolt of electricity come from Rasi as she jumped off his head

 

"What the.." He stared confused at the siblings as they argued

 

[Rasiel's blushing.. are they talking about me??] He thought as he felt his own face flush a little

 

 

(Boy, that was an extremely long hour. Sorry, guys)

(I'd be more worried about the person that..did this '"Hahaha!" Sylar's evil laugh echoed through the small chamber. His hands were covered in blood, and the top of Sikota's skull was on the ground a few yards away.')

"Oh,Joshua is a little small boy...he's around." Yumi said.

"Somewhere." She thought.

"He has healing powers. I guess Light. A little something I learned from a game." She said.

"No Xi, they will definitely not expect this. So whom do I get to kill first in your experiment? Joshua? Karu?" He spoke giddily, excited from the aspect of using his brand new powers.

(Awwwwwww......not those two.....)

( *silence* )

 

Rasiel imminently turned chibi for a split second...looking at Xander then hiding behind Karu.

"See....you're so embarrassed you can't even look at him without blushing..." Karu laughed. 

"Shut up Karu!!!!" Rasiel squeaked.

She transformed into her rabbit form, running up and hiding on Yumi's shoulder.

"Tell Karu to shut up....I like Karu-Nichan and he needs to stop doing that to me...I hate it when people make me blush and Karu loves doing that to me...I think partly because he has feelings for me and I make Karu-Ni blush a lot...and...um...I guess it is slight incest!" Rasiel said quietly, still hiding from Karu.

"Rasiel! I see you by the way..." Karu sighed, shaking his head.

"Eep!" Rasiel squeaked, hide again.

 

(Oh how much fun I have...making Karu pester Rasiel )

The figure on the other side of the room from Sylar smirked. A monitor turned on in the center of the room that showed the group at the lakebed bunker.

 

The monitor zoomed in on the two doors. The two choices.

 

"They will be the ones to decide."

Fulmen sighed. At least everyone was keeping up the cheerful mood. He smiled to Yumi, blushing a bit himself.

"Yeesh, it's like this island is just making us fall in love.." Fulmen murmured, realizing something that caused him to go pale.

D-do I like Yumi? He thought, looking to her.

Robert watched as Hazimie healed himself from his wounds. [is there anything this guy can't do with his powers?] he thought. He then looked back towards the two doors at the end of the bunker. 

 

"Hey guys, I think it's time to start going through these doors, how 'bout you?" 

Yumi saw Fulmen go pale. "I'll go." She said.

"How 'bout it Fully?" She asked and put her hand to his head.

"You don't feel warm..."She put her hand in his.

"What about meee?" Rasiel complained, she was still hiding on Yumi's shoulder.

Karu sighed, walking over, he grabbed Rasiel from Yumi's shoulder, holding the rabbit version of his sister up in the air.

Without a word, Karu placed her on Xander's head.

"What about this...you can still be affectionate to me...but you have to be nice to Xander now as well, okay?" Karu said seriously.

"Y–Yes Karu-ni...." She sighed, a bit disappointed in herself.

"Oh...I'm fine. Just...nothing. Heh..." Fulmen said, trying to hide both the flush and awkward face he was making. "I feel a lot better, though."

However, that act of trying not to flush failed when he saw Yumi's hand in his. His face flushed even more; having to look away to hide the embarrassment Yumi unknowingly put him into.

W-why am I so nervous? He thought, unsure of what to do.

 

(Whelp, seems the massive ship-fest is approaching.)

(Concerning me atleast, it shouldn't get much worse. Sheesh you guys get way too afraid of my shipping...)

"Well,for now i'm just following you..."Hazimie said as he then decides to follow Robert from now on."Somehow....i get the feeling....that this will never end...."Hazimie said as he began to worried and start thinking how to face this threat...

(Have you seen your title and profile recently? We have reason.)Sylar nodded, landing back on the ground. "Guess I'll just have to wait then. Have any popcorn?" He said. Sylar held his hand up, and used his telekinesis to create a seat by pulling the steel from the walls and shaping it. He sat down opposite the screens and began to relax.

(Sorry guys, I was at WonderCon. I'll be like there for the weekend)

 

After healing Fulmen a bit, Joshua wandered outside. "I...don't know where to go or who to go with." He mumbled quietly to himself. He shivered of the breeze that struck through his spine from the outside and wondered if he should just go back in. Rasiel and Karu seemed nice, so did Robert. Hazimie had ditched him against Sylar before. And then there's Fulmen, although, he never got to talk with Fulmen... he seemed to have a relationship with Yumi though.

 

Isaac calmly turned to face Ember. She was clearly in thought, probably as to how to beat him. Isaac pulled out a lighter and cigarette, beginning to smoke and glare evilly at Ember. He put his lighter away and slowly walked to Ember. He still held his dagger with a loose grip. "No answer? Fine. I'll start from your upper chest." Isaac said calmly, but with a grin.

(Actually Schemer, Luce attacked Isaac as well.)

Ren carefully set Kilek on the ground before the elderly woman.  "It's his leg," he informed her.  "It seems to be broken pretty bad...can you mend it?"  Then the redhead stood, taking in his surroundings.  The shed was nothing as he anticipated, though he thought it perhaps was a room of recovery, much like the white room had been after the scorching chamber.

 

It looks like we're going to be getting a short reprieve, Ren thought to himself, leaning back against the wall. But exactly how short remains a question.

"Heh heh, you ok, Rasiel??" Xander asked her as Karu put her on his head. Xander and Rasiel were both still blushing a bit

 

He patted her a bit to comfort her

 

"Thank you, Karu" He said "How is your hand??"

 

[We need to be moving out soon.. but there are 2 doors.. will we have to split up?? I don't like this] Xander thought, staring at the doors with a serious look on his face

 

[And who are the new guys?? Can they be trusted??]

"Okay,I meant to say does everyone want to head out." Yumi said with a sigh.

She saw Fulmen look away."Hey,you alright?" She asked him and followed Xander's gaze to the door.

"I hate to say it,but we should split up. More doors mean more places to go and if we can do this quicker then that's great. So who wants to go with who?" She asked.

Karu was the only one who heard the voice.

 

"Look at your sister, so naive, so affectionate toward you. You love her, don't you?"

 

Xi knew that Karu might be tensed up just from the first comment, but this was only the start of what Xi was to ask of him.

 

"You will go through the door on the left, and you will make sure she goes through the door on the right."

Robert stared at the doors, trying decide which door to go through. It was then that he remembered that he had a quarter in his pocket.. [Allright, if I get heads, I'll go right, and if I get tails, I'll go left.] he thorght, and fliped the coin. He got heads. "I'm going right, anyone else want to join me?" he asked, and put the coin back in his pocket.

 

(The funny thing is, I actually chose which door to go through by flipping a quarter as well.)

Fulmen sighed, hoping his face had lessened the blush. He finally looked back, and awkward expression clearly displayed.

"Can I go with you, Yumi?" He asked carefully, slightly hoping she would say no, so he wouldn't feel so awkward; yet another part of him wanted her to say yes.

I-I'm so confused. He thought helplessly, looking down in response to his feelings.

Karu walked away for a minuet, looking into the woods and quietly speaking.

"Yes. I guess you could say I am quote 'in love' with my sister. However, she is attached to me. She likes me too. Obviously, you are nothing but trouble Xi. You are trying to kill us. You are trying to separate us. That doesn't just go for me and Rasiel, you are trying to kill everyone. I am betting after you kill off me or Rasiel, Yumi or Fulmen will be next...and then if I do die, it will be Xandre or Rasiel. You probably won't kill Rasiel because she is so naïve but she is also powerful." Karu said seriously with a sharp look in his eyes.

"If you kill me. Then Rasiel will kill you, and all of your other players." He said, crossing his arms.

"You will see Xi. Rasiel will snap. She has a reason to." Karu said, a smile dark smile appearing on his face.

 

(LOL, I'm fangirling over my own character....)

 

Rasiel nodded to Xander, jumping off his head and onto the ground.

She changed back into her human form as Karu headed over.

"Kru! Xandre asked if your hand is okay..." She pointed out.

Karu gave a silent nod before hugging his sister tightly and holding onto her hand.

"K–Karu...are you okay? You seem upset...." Rasiel complained.

"I'm okay, just don't let go of my hand until I say to, okay? That won't be anytime soon, alright?" He said seriously.

"Yes Karu." Rasiel gave a nod.

Karu looked towards Xander.

"Come on, we need to go." He said before turning to the doors again.

"And don't fallow me and Raisel." He added.

"Wha–!" Rasiel was cutoff by a sharp glare from her brother.
