So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Ember landed on the ground far away, and subconsciously threw up a wall to block Kijiya's attacks. She crawled a few steps back before pushing herself up. She dematerialized the wall and placed a sword of her own in her hand. "If you want to fight bladed, I can oblige." She said, daring him to try and attack. She knew that she was good with a sword. Heck, her power gave her practice with all kinds of weapons.

"Then i'll be glad that you have various kind of weapons..."Kijiya said as he want her to use weapon."Hope you avoid this attack fast..."Kijiya said as he then attack with his sword continuously,but this time,he use 2 Swords at the time."You will be killed by me,Woman..."Kijiya said with psychopath tone on his voice while keep attacking on her...

Xander had been too busy ripping away the corpses that kept emerging from Lira's body, that he hadn't seen what was happening with Rasiel
It wasn't until her scream pierced his ears that he looked up to see her turning into her demon form form allowing her to escape, but it was too late, Xander saw the blood on her stomach from the stab wound.

 

Without hesitating he threw his arms out to sides, using his telekinesi to break off a piece of the left and right walls as well as a piece of the ceiling. He pulled his arms towards each other, crossing them, causing all the pieces to come flying into to Lira. One from the left, right, and from above crashing into her

 

He fell to ground, landing on his feet running to her. He heard her scream once more and then silence as she fell. He was unable to hear her whisper, But he was able to stop her body from hitting the floor hard with his telekin.

"Rasiel..!!" He said as he finally reached her {Rasiel!! Rasiel!!} He tried to send through tele, but it was too late, she was unconscious .. He could feel she was still alive.. but her wounds were bad

He did what he could to stop the bleeding using his abilities, which may not have been enough..

"I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry!!" Tears once again came to his eyes, falling to Rasiel's face as he leaned over her body

 

He turned back to Lira, standing up and breathing heavily, his face twisted with agony from Rasiel's suffuring.

 

"..Lira.." He looked slightly insane, but mostly angry "You WON'T touch her again!!" He shouted

He reached out using his telekin. His arms tensed up, almost every muscle in them flexing. The position and movement of his arms and hands made it look like he was trying to open something.

His telekinetic adendages had grabbed onto Lira's head and shoulders.

 

"Rrrgh!!" Xander grunted as he struggled to move something with his telekinesis

 

He was trying to rip Lira's head off..

The moments ticked by as the battle before their eyes played out.  It was a two against one battle, though from where Ren stood, it seemed the lone guy was winning.  He hated stand along the sidelines watching a fight take place without aiding those in need, but at this point he couldn't tell which side to aid, even if he wanted to.  Neisan had also reminded the redhead that this wasn't their fight--which was true.  And yet, Ren found himself inching forward, hoping to catch wind of their exchanges.  He looked to Neisan, who he noticed also had a weapon at the ready, to which he nodded in approval.

 

"Personally," he whispered, his words barely audible, "I think those two are the ones who would need help, and, if they are as innocent as they appear, I can't just stand back and watch them die, y'know?"

"Let's see how they fare for now." Sikota said.

Simon paused "Now what?" He asked. "Do we wait for Xi again? Or is there a way or out?"

"Let me help you out a bit, Xander." Humm said. "Galeforce Metamorphosis." He was surrounded by spiraling wind, the winds were so strong that they obscured his appearance. When they cleared, Humm looked atleast 5 years older. "Show time. Galeforce Razor!" In a wide kick, an arc of sharp wind was sent flying towards Lira's neck, he jumped forward, intending to follow up with his own physical strike.

(It is rather hilarious that I make Rasiel pass out and everyone then tries to rip Lira's head off...literally...)

(I was intending to use Galeforce Metamorphosis anyway. I'll take this technique a step further if I have to)

Yumi sighed. "No,there's only one way in,the phone both and one way out the door.  Both are blocked. Xi is just going to have to think of a new game." She looked at the door.

(Sorry guys for not posting on here much recently, but I've been busy. I should be able to start posting again in a couple of days or so, so just post without me untill then. Thanks.)

Ember is doing well on her own....but Kijiya certainly has a larger pool of strength. Fulmen thought, Let's see if I can't ruin some of those nerves and muscles. He rushed forward, his palm streaking with bits of electricity as he ran forth, aiming for any point on Kijiya's body.

As long as I make contact, I can do damage. Heck, even if they block with a blade, I can easily send a current through the metal. Fulmen thought with a smile, plunging his lightning-enhanced fist towards Kijiya.

(I've seen Sodom decapitate before. Now I'M getting decapitated. Jeez.)

 

As soon as the walls and ceiling were flung to Lira, she smashed one with her claws, then another one, and the last one finally with her tail. (They don't give up...!) Lira thought in annoyance. She made another tail out of nothing, flailing both tails around powerfully. One hit Robert again. Lira merely laughed at Xander for the first few moments. "Ahahahaha!!! KARU REALLY WAS RIGHT! You and Rasiel are in loooove...!" Lira said with plenty of sarcasm in her still monstrous voice. "OH, YOUNG LOVE! It makes you do WILD things. Fighting something knowing it'll kill you, right Xander? Oh, you already know this. Your time with Karu ensured that." She chuckled again, a bit lighter of a voice though. "Maybe I WILL touch 'er again. Whadda ya say?" Lira prepared herself, just as Xander began to finally show off his telekinetic prowess. Lira squealed in excruciating pain. "YOU BASTARD!!!" She yelled. She slammed her claw down on Xander again, swinging her tail straight to Humm as well. After they were halted from their abilities, Lira opened up her jaws wide, purplish tentacles spewing out as the people all over her body absorbed within. They soon began comimg out, connected to the tentacles amd actually walking on ground. Karu, Joshua, Hazimie, Sikota, and the others were among the corpses. The tentacles withered back into Lira, with all the corpses walking on their own.

 

A quick *SLICE* was heard in a few seconds, before Lira yelped in even more pain. Her tail was probably the length of a dozen giraffe necks, and a small part of it was gone. "Rrrrgh!" Lira grumbled. She sent her full tail zooming in to the culprit of the slice as the other tail regenerated. The tail was caught in dead tracks. Isaac flipped his gray hair back as it was sent a little down from the shockwave of the tail. Isaac's arm and hand were completely blackened carbon fiber, strong enough to withstand a blow from Lira. "Sorry about that. Whatever the Hell you are, you're not touching my experiment either." Isaac snickered and held Lira's tail fragment, as Joshua rested across Isaac's arms on his shoulder. "He was a little hungry, that's all." Isaac slammed the other tail down amd nonchalantly fed Joshua the tail.

(Holy plot twist!)

(Right now...I am dying of laughter...yet I am creeped out...Lira's first saying I just died laughing....the bad part is was that Karu could sense others emotions...and that just adds onto the fact it was hilarious...)

Humm grimaced. "Fine, the new guy can handle her." He turned to the Sikota corpse and instantly felt a kind of connection. "I think it's time I met my maker." He charged the corpse.

 

(So, Schemer, you controlling these things too)

The blast door grinded open in front of Simon and Yumi. It revealed something... odd...

 

Beyond the blast door was a huge underground tunnel that led upward, towards the surface. It wasn't the path that Fulmen took. Somehow, during the crisis in the room, the room had spun. Two girls were unconcious on the other side of the door.

 

Rose...

Lupus...

 

There was light at the other end of the huge tunnel, quite a bit further.  "Congratulations. Though I have to admit," Xi started "you gained extra help. That must be balanced out with an extra challenge.

 

The other end of the tunnel then changed from a brihgt white color of the outside to a rushing bluish dark color. Flowing... flowing towards them. Somehow, the tunnel was just pumped with a lake's worth of water, now rushing down the tunnel like an oncoming wave, only much faster. It was racing down towards Simon, Yumi, and the unconcious Rose and Lupus.

 

"There. That's better."

"They don't suspect a thing, do they?"

 

Xi's voice was soft enough in Sikota's ear, nobody around him heard a thing.

 

"Good, that will surely make the upcoming events more interesting."

The silhouette behind the glass watched as Lira, or the monstrosity that was previously known as Lira, writhed and stuck out at the various people in the darkened underground room.

 

It was one thing to make them face their fears, but Lira was now enjoying it, she was enveloped by their secrets, by their regrets, by their issues. This was the wrong side of fear, the side that could not be undone. Lira was desperate, an amalgamation of horrors, not only had she shown her own lack of composure, she had threatened the potential of the others. Something personal ached at seeing Lira abuse the memories of the dead. She was no longer a useful tool, or a potential. She was now a loose end.

 

"Enough."

 

The silhouette stood up, and drew something from a coat pocket. He brought it up and aimed it at the monster on the other side of the glass. The three shots were fired off in quick succession. Two in Lira's head, the other in her main body. There was no movement for a second.

 

"That is all Lira. You're dismissed."

 

The three shots exploded violently. It only took a few seconds after the explosion for all the matter that had been Lira to suddenly dissolve and seemingly wash away. The glass separating Xi from the rest suddenly resealed itself. He sat back down.

 

 

"Test completed."

(OH MY GOD...THANK YOU MDS...)

(So much for Galeforce Metamorphosis II... And nice foreshadowing)
