So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

"Sheesh, you're annoying." Sikota said nonchalantly punching Kijiya across the fields. He jumped back toward Neisan. "We're hitting him hard, but he keeps absorbing things to regenerate himself. We gotta' hit him with everything we got and we might be able to overload him."

 

 

"Listen here!" The shadowy figure snapped. "Once I break through these chains, I'll make sure that another set grab onto you. Or better yet drag you down to a place much more just than me. You can consider helping, and doing so will allow me to consider sparing a heartless dastard like you."

(Pret, Xander is kind of safe, but if he gets in my way. He's screwed. And yeah, I taunted Him. Too good.)Sylar laughed manaically. "I have no problem finishing your fights, but I would need something in return. Slight back-up? Another power?" Sylar spoke, trying to bargain with the silhouette. The fight continued down below, but Sylar paid it no mind. It was of no importance until he finished his conversation. Then we'd see where the fight went. In favor of the victims, or the villains?

(If Rasiel is at the top.. then he's definitely gonna have to go through Xander first. So I guess that puts Xander at the top.. ~_~)

"I have enough energy for on more mega laser. That's it. I won't even be able to fire my regular weapons after that. I hope you can match this thing's power." He gestured the cannon on his shoulder. "Let's do this. Power from weapons transfer to mega laser." Neisan looked grimly over at Kijiya. Here's hoping this works.

Fulmen looked around. The radio tower looked promising-- perhaps he could knock it down onto Kijiya, then electrify the length of it to shock and kill the darned monstrous once-human? As he looked, he spotted someone familiar- Yumi.

Oh my god she's still alive. Fulmen thought, his jaw almost dropping. Even in the midst of the worst battle the island had to date; Fulmen smiled. "YUMI!" He shouted, raising his arm.

Ren was astounded when roots wound around the radio tower and held it in place, letting his winds die till nothing but the gentle breeze remained.  He looked up to see a flower bloom, and out step several people he was unfamiliar with.  One of them introduced themselves as Simon.  A weak smile spread across Ren's lips as he nodded in gratitude.  "I'm Ren, and thank you.  The demon took flight into the forest, though I'm not sure he's taking damage well.  It seems that he's restoring himself with any weapon used on him"--the redhead let out a defeated sigh and shook his head--"though any help would certainly be appreciated.  I too will help in any way I can, though I'm afraid the element of wind doesn't aid much in a fight."

Yumi blushed. "It's Fully~ He's alive..thank goodness." She smiled and ran over to him.

"I kept it." She said proudly and handed him the photo of them kissing.

"Now,hopefully we can leave..." She whispered.

Rasiel, Xander, Ember, Lupus, Humm. The more coming too, the merrier. The more to dissect and kill. But they all seemed unfazed, as if prepared to try and kill me. I wonder... how do they plan on doing so?
Joshua stood beside Isaac as his shadow gloomed outwards again. "Whom should I dissect first, now? So many choices." Isaac asked aloud. He was calm and nonchalant, ready for whatever they threw at him. With control over Joshua, he could use the shadows quite effectively. Lupus and Ember rushed recklessly towards Isaac. Isaac smirked, licking his lips. "Ember...." He muttered almost happily. "Play time again."

He walked towards the two calmly as they rushed. In an instant, Isaac vanished into his own shadow, Joshua left behind with his zombified expression. "Boo." A whisper sent down the chill of Ember, just as a dagger was sent down her spine's base. Turning to the rest of the group, he grinned while holding onto Ember by her shoulder, disturbingly close to her face. He licked his lips again, as a tentacular abomination of a shadow materialized out of thin air.

 

As Kijiya has been regenerating,he suddenly sensing someone's power,and it was Isaac."ROOOOAAAARRRGGGHHH!!"Kijiya roared as he used his incredible speed to reach the tower in order to meet him.(Isaac....Isaac....ISAAC!!)Kijiya thought as he enraged while heading to the tower.(I WILL NOT LETTING YOU KILL THEM BEFORE ME!!)Kijiya thought again as he increase his speed again...

Fulmen sighed with relieve as he saw the photo. "I'm glad you kept it safe." He said, wishing he could hug her, and learn of what had transpired during their absence from one another.

Sadly, that would have to wait. There were enemies in their midst, and they would have to be dealt with before and embracing could be done.

"Yumi? Mind helping me help take out that Kijiya guy?" Fulmen asked, looking to the being who seemingly rushed over to someone else.

"Be careful; he seems indestructible," Ren said warily, stepping over debris and rubble to Yumi and Fulmen.  He nodded respectfully to Fulmen.  "It would seem I was foolish in thinking words would affect Kijiya.  I--I suppose I thought he'd be reachable."  His gaze veered to the demon, which emerged from the forest and seemed to have it out for some man Ren didn't know.  The redhead shook his head, stray strands of hair falling into his eyes.  "I don't believe we'd been properly introduced amidst all the chaos.  My name is Ren Cabret, and who might you and this kind lady be?"

(Well,mostly villains knows other villains is a common thing,so yeah.Anyways,he's now a Demon and he can't speak unless roaring and he only thought to his mind only...)

As Neisan was running into the forest after Kijiya, suddenly the demon sped past in the opposite direction. "Where is it going now?! We have to end this thing. We'll have a better chance of doing it with more people. Let's chase it to the clearing by the radio tower. I want you to knock it into the air, and I'll shoot it down." He glanced at Sikota.

Yumi then noticed Ren."Yumi Yuki Ai,or Dream Snow Love,I think that what it means in English. Now what is that thing and why does it keep roaring?" She asked.

"What ever it is,I guess some kind of mix of bug and human..maybe demon...it's gross and should die." She thought.

"This whole place is a mess,now that I look around." She said mildly bored.

(Yumi=Arrow, Yuki=Snow, Ai=Love...I've looked up far too many names...)

"Wugh!!" Xander nearly dropped to his knees when Rasiel turned human while on his shoulder. Normaly he'd probably be able to hold her on his shoulder, that was not the case due to his wound. He regained his composure and used his telekinesis to help hold her up. "Rasiel.." His voice was shakey. Then she jumped off. He sighed sort of in relief, and rotated his shoulder, trying to stretch it out.

 

".. I uh.. like that form too.." He said a bit quietly "Sorry"

 

When Isaac and Joshua showed up he positioned himself in front of Rasiel. He almost snarled when Isaac made his comment.

 

[Hmmm.. Rasiel seems to have a lot of trust in me.. I can't let her down. I won't]

 

{Thank you, Rasiel. Be careful..} He sent through telepathy

 

He turned to Joshua {You can't let him control you!! I know you can understand me, Joshua.. Please!! You can't let him control you..} He sent to Joshua, but it was too late. Issac had basically complete control over Joshua and his abilities, which he used to teleport to a couple of girls he didn't recognize. But it looked like he had injured one of them.

 

"No.." He said gravelly "Joshua, don't let him control you!!" He whipped his head back to Isaac, seeing the shadow tentacle appear

Rasiel gave a slight smile to Xander, then zoning out as she turned to the battle...right now, Humm was protecting them. Everyone was here...every member of this 'Experiment'. All...but one. Rasiel barely glanced over to Joshua, jerking her head back around as Karu came in mind again, her eyes looked down, Rasiel's head slight tilted to the side, so at a certain angle, you could see it from the back. Biting her lip to keep tears from rising she looked at Xander again.

"Xander...why was it Karu....and not someone else?" she asked quietly, turning back to Joshua.

"Everyone...is here...of course he isn't though...that idiot..." she snapped the last part.

Rasiel went serious, looking up at Xander.

"Let me make a temporary clone of my brother, Xander. I am serious." she snapped.

Xander looked at Rasiel saddly, his eyes getting a little watery

 

"I don't know, Rasiel.. what I do know, is that he died a hero.. He saved us all with his sacrifice." He said to her "He wasn't an idiot.. I'm sorry he's not still here with us"

 

His eyes widened at the prospect her making a clone of her brother

 

".. could you.. really do that??" He asked surprised but serious

"It would only be temporary...about for 15 minutes...he would have no memory and only fallow my commands. It would require my blood...that's why I'm asking you before I make a clone...I made a clone of my father once with Karu's help. It is an ability of my demon magic to make stuff, and transform stuff." Rasiel explined.

"I can make a temporary clone of anyone only if I have their blood and a belonging of theirs." she said with a smirk.

"I'm Fulmen." Fulmen said, smiling to Ren. "As for that terrifying thing, Yumi...that's Kijiya. The guy we're trying to defeat." Fulmen then explained, watching as Kijiya went about, obviously having one target in mind.

"And yes, it is a mess-- because of that thing." Fulmen looked at Kijiya's current form, disgusted that he would become something so wretched. "Which is why I would like us all to team up and whack him around a bit."
