Anyone got a really great opinion on gay marriage?

I am all for gay men and women to be together. 

 

Marriage however is supposed to be between a man and a woman. However gay couples should have all the rights and privileges that straight couples have.

 

But yeah, I'm all for gay couples to be together. I enjoy watching gay relationships on TV shows like Glee and Torchwood. I find them interesting and unique. And a lot of them are fantastic characters and/or have great actors.

 

I don't care if someone is gay, I find that if someone is gay it's a part of their personality, and can make them more interesting.

Yep, Sora96 is completely correct. LGBT people are also a part of society, so its only right that they are recognised and given equal rights as everyone else.

 

I too care not if a person is LGBT, as long as they make a good person on the inside thats all that matters.

Well personally, i don't really care about them. It's their business who they date.As long as they don't flirt or get too touchy with me i'm fine with it

Basically, they are humans just like everyone else. They should have the same exact rights we have. End of story.

Complete apathy.  If they're the same as anyone else then they don't need special attention.

Whether someone is gay, hetero, bi, ace, pan, etc, they are all human so they shouldn't be treated any different than other people. Everyone should be treated equal.

Marriage (also called matrimony or wedlock) is a social union or legal contract between people.

​The church shouldn't have a say in the legality's of a social union.  As for "it's in the bible" in Leviticus it also says no shellfish, make sacrafices to your lord, slaughter animals when you swear, don't eat pork, no wearing fabrics of two clothes (i.e. you should be killed if you wear denium jeans and a cotton shirt) and so much more.

Look at any picture of protesters against gay marriage and you can tell they aren't following the latter (unless you stalk them you won't know the others really), but those same people damning others in accordance with the same biblical text (made by man) that they preach rightfully should  be put to death.

 

Love is love, man, woman, trans or otherwise, and in the sake of protecting love, an outdated belief shouldn't be allowed as justification for denying a union of love.  
When people who have  been together for decades aren't allowed to marry but Kim Kardashion is, you know there is a problem.  

There is no logical or moral reasoning to say that marriage should be exclusive to man and woman, and even less so to prevent individuals from being married in a free society in which there's (supposed to be) a separation of church and state.

I'm for gay marriage since it doesnt matter who dates who since it's none of my concern and people dont have the right to judge. a good majority of people says it bad because the bible said so (i dont even know where) but love is love, regardless of the person
