Anyone else think that when 2.5 is announced (officially at a convention) it will most likely be announced at TGS 2013 and with that being said KH1.5 will hit shelves this fall (sometime around September I assume) but wouldn't it be a punch in the gut if they announced 2.5 a week after 1.5 came here? I mean... There pulling a BBSFM if they do that.

I don't see a problem with it. It'd be another year after before it comes outside of Japan anyway. I personally see it being announced at TGS

I don't see how it would be a punch in the gut if they do announce it a week after we get 1.5 they still won't get 2.5 until 2014 and if they do announce it at TGS it will be in September so it might be a week after we get 1.5 but who knows we will have to see.  For now I'm not worried about 2.5 I just wanna know a release date for 1.5 for over seas lol

I wouldn't mind BBSFM and kingdom hearts 2 FM too. But I think either re coded or DDD gets put in there too. My opinion now, I want to see KH2FM, BBS, and Re coded. But for 2.5 to be announced, I think they would wait a while after 2.5 is out. I wouldn't mind hearing news on it.

TGS or Jump Festa.  Those would be the best times to do it and I don't really see them doing it at E3.

I agree with Oishii on this, but add Re. Coded Cutscenes to 2.5. As for 3D, well.... They just gonna have to buy the 3DS and play 3D... Unless it can be re-released as a Playstation Market Game (HIGHLY UNLIKELY)

Im betting Jump Festa for 2.5. since 1.5 overseas will came too close to TGS and maybe they want to give some time before announce the next one.

but definitely will be annouced this year.

I don't know much about when SE announces stuff. But I don't think it would be a problem if they did that. And I might even like it, since not everyone will get 1.5 right when it comes out/there would be no other news if they didn't.

Theres nothing stopping Square from announcing 2.5 at E3.....but I think TGS.

Well that's common knowledge since kh: 3D credits spell out "this leads to kingdom hearts 3."

I would love to have it be announced at E3, but it won't be. The most hopeful scenario I think is this year at TGS.

 

The notion of having a remix this year and the next remix a year later is kind of blowing my mind. Not sure why, but I'm good with it.

Wait how would that be a punch in the gut? Regardless 2.5 will have different content than 1.5 (Because I seriously doubt they'll put the same games in 2.5 plus everything else) If anything that's be great because then you could just dive straight into it, it's not like buying 2.5 and 1.5 will suddenly become obsolete, that's like saying buying KH2 will take away any reason to play KH1. I mean yeah the final mix versions make their originals obsolete, but what you're saying makes absolutely no sense, in fact it would be smart for SE to dive right into 2.5, people will buy regardless. And trust me, though Japan may get 2.5 when 1.5's only been here for a little while, it will be translated, at least I'm totally sure, anyways.

Because the fans over seas won't get it until E3 is well over and E3 is an event in america so why would they announce a "sequel" for a game that the first one hasn't even came out yet in america?

Wouldn't be a punch in the gut to announce it at TGS 2013, Square lives in a box where they don't think anyone outside of Japan is privy to game announcements at TGS (technically 1.5 remix wasn't announced in their eyes in the west till last week)
