Another thing that doesn't make sense... I can say retard but not in the past tense, ret arded. So, I could go around saying."Hi, you're a fricking retard. But not retard-ed(awesome), because apparantly that's different somehow.

I don't want it censored either, I'm just terribly confused.

To me, I think shit isn't so bad because it is rarely used to insult a person.  It's usually used as an exclamation when something goes wrong.  But if someone on the forum called another person 'a piece a shit' or something along those lines, we would remove it.

 

Edit: You have a point about r***rded being censored but r***ard isn't.  I'll talk to DC about updating the censor.

The only thing I change when it comes to cursing is the F word. Thanks to square enix for creating twewy, now I just simply say Factor, and other curse words in math terms.
