Consumerist has nominated video game giant EA as the worst company in America for the second year running. EA is pitted against notable companies such as Google and Facebook to win a Golden Poo award. EA took the crown last year as the worst company in America, so it will be interesting to see just how they will fare this time around. Who would you say is the worst company in America in 2013?

EA earned it fair and square. They absolutely without a doubt deserve the award. Congratulations to EA!

With the whole Simcity thing, i'm not surprised.  Least they're given away free games to those who got SimCity as compensation.

EA could be fine. They own a lot of talented developers who make hit/quality series. The problem his they're leaning over Bioware's and Visceral's shoulders saying "Microtransactions, multiplayer, we want it sooner." They steer games in directions that are "best" for EA, not best for the game.

 

I'm not sure how much blame is on them for the whole SimCity debacle and how much is on Maxis, but I'm willing to bet they were looking for any excuse possible for DRM implementation. EA has earned this nomination if you ask me.

Haha this is exactly what I was thinking. Nexon is a pretty horrible company, I don't even know where to begin.  Congrats to EA for taking the title though.

They still make the best sport games. No one can doubt that.
