Well let's face it. i loved a LOT of the spin-offs, mostly the Mystery Dungeon and Ranger series. And by what i mean, i also insinuate that Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon : Gale of Darkness, Stadium and Puzzle league were also very innovative. 

 

On the other side, yeah MANY of them were basically meh. A few actually showed that Tajiri ran out of innovation much (coughcoughcoughtrozeicoughcough) 

 

And last, since Pokémon on the gaming side has differing plotline for each maingame region (except for maybe BW and BW2) these spin-offs didn't act as fillers. Sure they bought time to work on the maingames, sure they raised money (tajiri is probably swimming in money) but point being they really didn't bring out as excuses which was really nice of the company.

 

I think they should really put love into the GC and N64 side of the old spin-offs, they need love ;-;

My opinion varies with each spin-off. Some were amazing for me, mystery dungeon. Some were good for me, collosuem. Some were meh for me, trozie. And some were pretty annoying, "hey you pikachu". As for how it actually works out I think it's nice to get the side games/spin-off games for pokemon. It's a nice break from the main series at times and helps to make Pokemon games seem more diverse and not always: get pokemon>get 8 badges>pokemon league>fin. It also of course makes more money. Overall I like the idea of having Pokemon spin-off games. Even though some haven't been the best they add to the franchise to me.

It's great that the series has more to offer than just the main games, but I really only liked the N64/GC spinoffs Pokemon Stadium and Snap, even Hey You Pikachu T.T

Coliseum was fantastic. 

There were some great ones, like Mystery Dungeon, but there were some pretty bad spin offs

Some of the spin-offs were great like Stadium 1&2,Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Pokemon Conquest.

 

 

and some of them can be bad(Looking at you Hey You Pikachu)

My favorite among most spin-offs is PMD, although I'm still hearing a lot of bad things about the latest one. (My friends told me stuff, then IGN gave is a bad score, and even if they're known for that, 4.5 is saying something)

 

Stadium was fun with the mini games. I enjoyed the rest that were on consoles, even Revolution. (Of course, you need a DS game+friends if you want to enjoy this)

 

The only spin off I don't like is Rumble. Tried it and I seriously don't see what's so good about it. Inb4rage

I love Colosseum (I know I didn't spell that right), Rumble Blast and .  Hey You Pikachu, Pokemon Chanel and Pokepark were simple, yet I enjoyed them a lot.  MD - well I keep losing.

I love the PMD games, and Colosseum were great, and I like Pokemon Pinball as well. The Pokemon Ranger games were kinda meh, I own them, but they're definitely not my favorites. 

They're fantastic,I had more fun playing them to be honest.Pokemon Colossium and were both great.The mystery Dungeon games and the best PKMN games in my opinion.The Stadium games(Including the Wii game) and PKMN Rumble are fun too but they are certainly not as good as the "Original titles" though.

I forgot about Pinball.  I like it, but I like pinball.
