This morning at about 6am, I just realized, that not only their names relate to the command styles, but as well to their appearances, colour schemes and perhaps their personalities!

 

Aqua - Water - her colour scheme is blue and I guess you could say, that shes swift as a coursing river

Ventus - Wind - his colour scheme is very light blue (maybe even metallic?) and olive, and I guess you could call him being ''all over the place'' following Aqua and Terra. but then idonno.

Terra - Earth - his colour scheme are browns and creams! and he's just cool.

 

Btw sorry if this doesn't make much sense, right now it's still kinda hazy to me.

I find it interesting (in a cliche sort of way) that TAV are the only characters to have their personalities, color schemes, and fighting styles based off of their names. I wonder what prompted Nomura to do that with TAV specifically. I mean, it's not like they're the first characters to have element related names. I guess it's just a matter of having different priorities with the other characters.

Interesting; I'd never fully noticed this before, but you have a good point.  Aqua's personality is one that's fluid and calm, just like the ocean and waves, and Ven's flighty, sometimes irrational behavior (not to mention his incredible speed in combat) is reminiscent to the wind.  I'm not all that certain on Terra--as I'm not really sure what earth would be like except for stable, which he is--but this is a very interesting theory.  Definitely gives me something to think about for a while.

Even though I for one have already figured this out, it's nice to see others notice and announce it to anyone who hasn't noticed yet.

Anyways it's nice people regconize the symbolism behind their names and how it relates to their character.
