Posted April 7, 201312 yr So i'd thought I;d ask you this question. What are your complete thoughts about the PS Vita?
April 7, 201312 yr No support ergo it sucks. Edit: My complete thoughts, Developers feel it is too much of a risk to spend money developing on a system that isn't perhaps the most well received by the consumer, resulting in a lack of quantity and quality games. April 7, 201312 yr It's good but just needs a bit better library. I'll probably get one sometime after the jak hd collection comes out for it
April 7, 201312 yr I love vita I don't think games are the problem retail sure, but there's great amount of indie titles worth playing example guacamelee that's going out this week. also Indie developers also really like Vita. http://www.destructoid.com/indie-developers-prefer-vita-development-to-ios-android-249952.phtml Edited April 7, 201312 yr by Deadshot
April 7, 201312 yr Right now it's okay but I think with the release of the PS4 it will be much better
April 7, 201312 yr There are 2 things I hate about it: 1. Very Very few good games so far. 2. (The most annoying one) You can't have multiple accounts on 1 memory stick which means you can't share games from one account with another like you can do in PS3. For example I bought PS+ on my UK account and the PS3 games you download in that account works on my Swedish account also. But you can't do this in PS Vita which I hate a lot!!
April 7, 201312 yr It's higher price and small selection of games results in many consumers (and typically it's the parents who buy the consoles and the cheap price is the only thing they really care about) opting for one of nintendo's DS systems. I think it's neat, but i'm not interested enough to buy it.
April 7, 201312 yr i love my vita. it has some great games out already and getting some in the near future. The biggest Vita game i am looking forward to right now is Soul Sacrifice. It comes out in NA on April 30th and May 1st for Europe.

April 7, 201312 yr I dont like that is 1 account per Vita. Btw, i m using an used one so that s suck I need to buy another one.
April 7, 201312 yr 1) http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/release-date/available/vita/metascore?view=condensed&hardware=all 2) Game sharing, not saying it isn't annoying but that's why they did it Well looking at the metacritic's list, there are some good games but my Vita is still taking dust for a while now since there's not any game that I want to buy has come. I have only played Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Resistance Burning skies and Frobisher says(This is free on PS Store). I am now waiting for Killzone. I still have PS+ and once MGS collection was free on it but still I couldn't get to play it because of this 1 account per memory card problem. X(
April 8, 201312 yr An system that has an incredible amount of potential, but is presently a 500$ paper weight.

X( There's difference between no good games and games your interested in Try some indie games, and you could get another memory stick to play those games But that does sucks An system that has an incredible amount of potential, but is presently a 500$ paper weight. Cut that price in half it's 250$ for wifi model I dont like that is 1 account per Vita. Btw, i m using an used one so that s suck I need to buy another one. Get new memory stick and should work, you just need to reformat it to my knowledge. Edited April 8, 201312 yr by Deadshot
April 8, 201312 yr Where did the $500 come from? 250 bucks for the primary system, if you're just going for the wi-fi model, then another 90 bucks for a memory card that doesn't have about as much capacity as a floppy disc, and then buying what good games there are... so maybe less then 500, but it's still a goddamn lot of money for a goddamn little bit of use.

If you don't plan on going digital then a 4gb is just fine. And goddamn little bit of use? What are you talking about?
April 8, 201312 yr But no, with accessories like a case and such it could easily add up to 500 bucks. I wasn't that far off. If you don't plan on going digital then a 4gb is just fine. And goddamn little bit of use? What are you talking about? There are so few games worth buying the system for. Uncharted is pretty good... gravity rush is nice... an Assassins Creed game... but pretty much it's entire ibrary is filled with games that are just "cross play titles" like Playstation All stars, or games that are basically just ports or copies of games you can play on your console. So the library of games is crap. And the cross play deal for buying a game on the PS3 and getting it's Vita counterpart? It's a download, you don't get a free physical copy, so yes, you need to buy a large SD card to make the most of it.
April 8, 201312 yr But no, with accessories like a case and such it could easily add up to 500 bucks. I wasn't that far off. A case is really all you need. yeah you're pretty far off. I got my vita for $320 and it came with a 8gb memory card, a game and a case. So i don't know where you're getting 500 from Edited April 8, 201312 yr by Namikaze

The vita has Persona 4 golden which you seem to have forgot and that's easily 100+ hours of gameplay. Also playstation allstars is only 1.3gb on the vita. that would leave you with 2.7gb on a 4gb which is still plenty of space. Again like I said, 4gb is good if you don't plan on going digital.

So i don't know where you're getting 500 from Maybe I am, I'm still not paying as much as I paid for a PS3 for a portable system with a crap library. No one should. If you do buy it now, you're contributing to the problem... the price dropped overseas, and sales skyrocketed, it's only a matter of time before SONY gets their shit together and lower it here. If you buy it before then, then the chances for a price drop decrease... It's a fantastic system. Like I said, immense potential. But the price is bull, the library is bull, and it' just not worth it yet... And to make the most of it, YES YOU NEED TO GO DIGITAL. Another big part of the Vita is the fact you can download PSOne, PSP, and minis off the store, and not doing that is decreasing your value. So yes you would go digital. Which also means you would need wi-fi in your home... or pay MORE for 3G.
So i'd thought I;d ask you this question. What are your complete thoughts about the PS Vita?
